Democrats are pleased, Republicans are frustrated.

According to a couple of polls released from Rasmussen Reports, Democrats are pleased with their congressional delegation in Washington, while Republicans are frustrated with their congressional delegation in Washington. Considering our Republican delegation has stood strong against Democratic attempts to socialize our health care, economics, the United States Constitution, our freedoms and liberties, etc. the frustration amongst Republicans is uncalled for.

54% of Democrats say their congressional delegation represents them well.
34% of Democrats say their congressional delegation is out of touch.
12% of Democrats are unsure of how their congressional delegation is representing them.

16% of Republicans say their congressional delegation represents them well.
70% of Republicans say their congressional delegation represents them well.
14% of Republicans are unsure of how their congressional delegation is representing them.

Republicans voted against the stimulus package, the Democratic budget in 2009, cap & trade, health care legislation in both houses, the destruction of free markets, 77.5% of Senate Republicans opposed Sotomayor's confirmation to the Supreme Court, and Republicans continue to fight horrific financial legislation in both houses of Congress.

Republicans have been able to push pro-second amendment legislation in Congress, what more can Congressional Republicans do? Republicans have 178 members in the House of Representatives, and just 40 members in the United States Senate, that leaves little room to prevent Democratic legislation from being passed, unless a few Democrats join our caucus during a couple of votes!

This is not a time to be frustrated, we have good Republicans fighting the good fight on a regular basis, their efforts need to be applauded, not slapped in the face.

I agree with you in as much as we should support the conservative Republicans in Congress. I don't think they are the source of the frustration voters are experiencing however. Its the RINOs like Snow and Collins that are the problem. We need to support the Republican candidates that actually represent their constituencies and purge the RINOs along with the liberals.
