Scott Brown is and will be a vote of Independence.

Independence - "The state or quality of being Independent; freedom from the influence, control, or determination of another or others.

Scott Brown has voted 96% of the time with Republicans, while a member of the Massachusetts Senate, and Liberals believe this could be the issue that launches their candidate into the United States Senate after all, because it exposes Scott Brown as being beholden to Republican interests, however, considering Massachusetts is a Democrat state, holding Republican viewpoints is a streak of Independence.

Before we burn Scott Brown's campaign because he is a Republican, let us examine the voting records of the current Massachusetts delegation to both Houses of Congress, and who will be a vote of "Independence" and "Independent" thinking.

Congressman Olver (1st district) has voted 97% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman Neal (2nd district) has voted 99% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman McGovern (3rd district) has voted 98% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman Frank (4th district) has voted 98% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman Tsongas (5th district) has voted 98% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman Tierney (6th district) has voted 97% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman Markey (7th district) has voted 98% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman Capuano (8th district) has voted 99% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman Lynch (9th district) has voted 98% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Congressman Delahunt (10th district) has voted 98% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Senator Kerry (Senior Senator) has voted 97% of the time with Washington Democrats.
Senator Kirk (Interim Junior Senator) has voted 100% of the time with Washington Democrats.

Massachusetts has a chance to elect their first Republican Representative in a decade, sending their first "Independent" voice to Washington in over a decade, because the current delegation is 100% beholden to Democratic interests, and a Senator Scott Brown will not.

Perhaps, Liberals should check the voting records of their own, before casting the first stone.
