Hayworth, McCain and Reagan.

According to a recent advertisement from the Hayworth for Senate campaign from Arizona, Senator John McCain should win an Oscar award for "best Conservative actor" in regards to McCain's voting record, and his campaign claims of Conservatism.

Besides the fact Senator McCain has received a 81% lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union, Mr.Hayworth should be ashamed of himself for invoking imagery from a film that bashes America and all United States Marines, to bash an American war hero such as Senator McCain.

Furthermore, I wonder if the former Congressman has ever read the words of President Ronald Reagan, a man who desired a united Republican movement more than anyone else. Reagan once uttered words of significant importance that all Republicans should absorb and understand; "The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally — not a 20 percent traitor".

While researching on the American Conservative Union website, I learned that Congressman Hayworth maintains a 97.56% Conservative voting record, that means Senator John McCain (under a best case scenario) disagrees with the former Congressman just 16.56% of the time. And, according to a great man we all admire, Senator McCain is our friend, not a traitor.

Then again, I wonder if the former Congressman believes America would be better off under a President McCain, instead of the current administration, that is a question I would like to see asked in the coming months.

Hayworth's an idiot. McCain is a true Reagan conservative, even for his Maverick moments.

War hero I will give him! Conservative? No way! He was all over Cap & Trade like a hen on a June-bug and he has been after Amnesty forever. If there is such a thing as a Moderate, he is one of them; but RINO comes closer. He has spent way too much time crossing the aisle cowtowing to the likes of Teddy Kennedy.

Hayworth is the biggest joke Arizona has ever seen. He's a liar and a crook and he thinks he can get away with immature, childish tactics. McCain is the TRUE CONSERVATIVE here. He's what our state, and our country needs to get conservative values back on the hill. VOTE MCCAIN!

I could not agree more, great blog post! JD is NOT a true conservative. He was a HUGE spender when he was in Washington. He's a snake in my eyes. He is not worthy to represent Arizona again. He had his chance and blew his re-election...I wonder why? Maybe his voters wised up.

I take offense to Hayworth playing the religion card. As a Christian, I find when someone talks rather then acts on their religion, they have something to hide. JD need not express his religion, rather live by the rules of the Bible. The Bible does not teach us to boast, rather to live in a way others are brought to the Word. JD is a blowhard, this does not surprise me to hear him pulling out the cards to try and persuade voters, however, any Christian in the world would not be fooled by his ignorance...

Make no mistake, McCain is no actor... McCain was awarded the National Taxpayers Award for being the 3rd most fiscally conservative member in senate...and that is NO ACT! He has and always will be on the side of America, our Freedom, our Nation's potential and ability. McCain is not an act, it is by no accident he received this award.
