Courage and Consequence .

Karl Rove is a political figure who understands the concerns of average Americans, Republicans, Conservatives, Veterans, Wal-Mart shoppers and members of your local bookclub, and he can craft a masterful network of ideas out of all of those concerns, and deliver America a President who can represent all of them at the same time.

As an avid reader of political and historical books (I prefer reading about the Founding Fathers, but one cannot understand the Conservative movement of 2010, without the reading the most important works of 2010) I've been looking forward to reading Karl Rove's just released book about his personal and political life.

With the weekend wide open, and a personal desire to understand President Bush, his advisers, Karl Rove and Rovian campaign skills, I purchased the book yesterday morning, and I have invested close to 14 hours reading this Conservative and political masterpiece.

What can I conclude? Karl Rove is a sincere politico who doesn't care much for the legislative bickering's that Washington is defined by, and he doesn't appreciate ideological stones being tossed at President Bush from either side, especially when folks question his Conservative credentials.

Rove will never be President, but he will be remembered for designing the successful 2000 and 2004 Presidential campaigns for George W. Bush, perhaps not in a positive light, but his amazing intellect, insight and grasp for campaigns must be respected, regardless of your personal opinion of his tactics.

This book should not be dismissed, because of one or two disagreements with the Administration and Rove on the issues, but this book should become the foundation of all inspiring campaigners and volunteers for campaigns across the Republican spectrum, especially with those involved in local political organizations, this book will provide foundation for grassroots outreach.

There's a reason this book is #4 on the NY Times Best Sellers List; because this is a great book written by a great man of political intellect and sincerity. All Conservatives must purchase this book, without question. This is more important than Hannity's or Levin's, because while those books deal with "ideological" foundation, Rove deals with "grassroots, campaign" foundation that we must understand heading into November of 2010 and 2012.
