Economy Adds 290,000 Jobs

The economy appears to be gaining some headway, with the government reporting that 290,000 jobs were added to the rolls last month. Results from February and March also added 120,000 additional jobs. Unfortunately it appears that the news is not all good. Because more jobs are available, more people are coming back on the workforce. With such increases to the overall pool, unemployment actually rose. It crept up to 9.9 percent.

I expect to hear a lot about the recovery. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how far and how fast it's coming.
