Economy Adds 400k Jobs-- Only 19k Non-Census

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm happy that over 400,000 people have found employment with the census bureau. I'm glad that they have money coming in and are off the unemployment rolls.

But...

Unfortunately these temporary jobs are expiring soon. And what are they going to do in the other nine years of this decade? I'm getting different numbers on the amount of private jobs added in the last month, but the NBC article appears to be stating that only 19,000 jobs were created that were non-census. Again, I'm glad that these people are at work, but 19,000 jobs a month is not enough needed to rebuild the economy.

Part of the good news is that unemployment inched down to 9.7%, retreating from the high of 10.2% reached last year. Unfortunately, the stock futures have taken a hit with the news of fewer than expected private jobs.
