A Conservative challenger to Fox News on Cable?

Since it's conception in the late Nineties, Fox News has been the home of Conservatism on Cable, as a successful combination of news and opinion has rocketed the Network to number one, and on most nights the Fox News Network performs better than all of their Liberal Cable opponents combined.

However, it appears the Fox News Network will no longer be the lone Right-Of-Center gun on Cable television, as the Owner of the Philadelphia Flyers has announced RightNetwork, a new Right-Of-Center network that will launch this Summer. It appears the new Network will focus on a lighter side of Conservatism.

According to the RightNetwork website, their mission is to entertain, engage and enlighten Americans who are looking for content that reinforces their particular worldview. Did these individuals contact Glenn Beck about starring on their network? Because his well known "phrase" to those who listen to his Radio program is "The fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment".

How do I think this is going to workout? Well, Fox News will never leave their "number one" position in Cable Television, and I just cannot imagine another Conservative Network successfully attracting viewers when competing against Glenn Beck, Bret Baier, Bill O'Reilly, Neil Cavuto and Sean Hannity.

If progressive and liberal points-of-view cannot attract more than one million viewers per night, I just don't see another Conservative point-of-view competing at all. Unless their main television shows are aired at 3PM, 7PM and 10PM or a major Talk Show Host joins the Network, such as Michael Savage, Mark Levin or Bill Cunningham.

We'll see what happens this Summer when RightNetwork launches, but I will remain a skeptic until their entire news lineup is announced, until I watch the television shows, or until I'm asked on the Network as a regular guest and contributing opinionist to their Website.

Vacation and Summer

Well of course tomorrow being the last day of August, it is also the last day of summer for me because of course college starts, at least for me. This means I also have to get back into a routine of going to bed earlier and waking up earlier which really angers me and I wish I didn't need to sleep at all. I also want to find a really good RPG to play or something because I'm getting bored of the games I've been playing.

I just got back from a mini vacations where i went to Turning Stone Resort and Casino where I lost some money and played the fastest bingo EVER!! Yes, this lady was running late so she decided to speed up bingo by herself.... lots of people were complaining after.

Then after Turning Stone I went to Herkimer diamond mines which is actually not a real diamond mine its just quartz. It was fun, but I saw kids in shorts and no protective gear while on ledges and I'm just thinking what if a kid falls and how the parents would feel. But then again, I would just laugh because of the parents stupidity for letting their kids get up there in the first place. Oh, and as I learned... when using a sledge hammer for breaking the rocks I should pick up some shin guards next time because a piece of rock flew off and hit me in the shin and it hurt so much that I had to sit and look at my shin. There was a large bruise already which went away when it started bleeding out through the cut the rock made. Now I have a nice bump; thanks rock. We at least found over 50 dollars worth of the quarts and it was lots of fun so i would say it was a very successful mini vacation and I don't want the summer to end.

Well of course like all good things there is an end but of course this opens a new beginning. Lets just see where things go from here and i hope that everyone had a good summer!!!
