The One Republican I Wanted to Lose Is Winning

I wanted just about every Republican candidate on the national scene to win last night, but one who I wanted to be taken down was Alaska's Ted Stevens. Governor Palin has cleaned up a lot of corruption in the state, but Stevens not only won the primary, but is leading in the general election, too.

Corrupt officials such as these cannot continue serving in our high offices. Hopefully Stevens does the right thing and resigns. Sarah Palin can then appoint someone else (you know Curt Schilling was born there....)
