A statistical oddity has stood for the last 17 general elections. The Washington Redskins have accurately predicted these elections, never once being wrong. But their Monday Night Football loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers points to an Obama victory.
For the last 17 elections, when the Redskins win, the party who got the most general votes in the last general election would win the upcoming election. If they lost, then the party with the most general votes in the previous election would lose in the upcoming general election. 17 elections in a row they've been correct, the probability of which is 1/131,072. So unless you want them to be right for the eighteenth time in a row, get out and vote for McCain.
And should McCain lose, don't blame him. Blame the Redskins.
