NYGOP launches "Chucking Schumer" website.

Whoever works at the New York Republican State Committee new media division must have one hell of a sense of humor, because a new NYGOP sponsored website was launched this afternoon, and I have a feeling it's causing the New York political establishment to fall out of their chairs laughing.

I present: The "Chucking Chuck Schumer" Website!

For those who have any doubts about the website:

Is it childish? Perhaps. Is it absolutely awesome? Hell Yea!

Please visit the website, and please support Berntsen for Senate.

Schumer Slaps Down Obama on Israel

Charles Schumer, the Democratic New York Senator who is well from the political center has reportedly told President Obama to back down from his anti-Israel rhetoric. Schumer broke from the President's line and called him out for his treatment of the Netanyahu government.

Schumer, in part, said this:

"I told the President, I told Rahm Emanuel and others in the administration that I thought the policy they took to try to bring about negotiations is counter-productive, because when you give the Palestinians hope that the United States will do its negotiating for them, they are not going to sit down and talk," Schumer told Segal. "Palestinians don’t really believe in a state of Israel. They, unlike a majority of Israelis, who have come to the conclusion that they can live with a two-state solution to be determined by the parties, the majority of Palestinians are still very reluctant, and they need to be pushed to get there.
"If the U.S. says certain things and takes certain stands the Palestinians say, 'Why should we negotiate?'" Schumer said.
Man, it's about time.

Schumer Calls for Sanctions on-- Britain

Senator Charles Schumer, from my home state of New York, has made one of the stupidest comments in the history of 21st century politics. While I agree that the United States should protest Scotland's release of the Lockerbie bomber, there is no reason to go as far as Schumer suggested-- placing sanctions on our closest ally.

That's right! Schumer stated that if the UK did receive oil contracts for Megrahi's release, the United States should enact some "quid pro quo" and economically punish Britain. According to the New York Post:

"You can't allow a vicious terrorist who killed so many to go free after eight years," the New York Democrat said. "If it is true that there was a quid pro quo -- and it hasn't been proven yet -- there ought to be some sanctions against Britain."

This comes after President Obama snubbed the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Queen Elizabeth. Obama has also reportedly been reducing intelligence cooperation with the United Kingdom.

Schumer should choose his words better and say more bad things about Megrahi than Britain, who sent troops and took a leading role in both Gulf Wars and Afghanistan.
