Take a look at these deals which are going up on Friday:

Cheap laptops: Wal-Mart is coming out with a laptop that's incredibly affordable, at just $198. "A sub-200 dollar price … puts it in the consideration set for a lot of people," says Lewis.

Cheap Apple gear: The iPod-manufacturing technology giant has already sent Black Friday teasers to customers, advertising a "special Apple one-day shopping event" scheduled for November 27th. The circular doesn't list specific deals, but Apple hints at better than ordinary prices. If you've been hankering for a new MacBook, the prices may not get any better.

Cheap digital cameras: Best Buy is advertising a 10-megapixel digital camera for the almost embarrassingly low price of just $49.95, and other stores such as Office Depot are matching that price with different models. Digital cameras will almost certainly be a huge seller on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Cheap Blu-Ray players: The price of high-definition Blu-Ray movie players has been dropping steadily since the products first debuted in June of 2006. Watch for sub-$100 players at Best Buy and other retailers. Wal-Mart is even advertising a $78 model, which is certain to sell out promptly.

Cheap HDTVs: The cost of high-definition televisions seems to plunge by the day, but which deals are worth your money? Keep an eye on Wal-Mart for a 40-inch Sony Bravia, which will be on sale for $598. And rival Target reportedly will sell a 32-inch Westinghouse set for just $246.

Neat: Yahoo! News Lists "Dumbest Moments in Business 2009," Including the Obama Administration Twice

Looking at a list of the "ten dumbest moments in business 2009" from the Main Stream Media, I hardly expected anything about the President's agregious spending and "cuts." But lo and behold Yahoo! listed two of the Prez's biggest blunders. Sure, they didn't mention his truly biggest, like the Porkulus bill or the Crap & Trade bill, but anything is a start:

9. Geithner gives few details, tanks the market

In February, President Obama used his first White House press conference to alert the public to a momentous event. "Tomorrow, my Treasury Secretary, Tim Geithner, will be announcing some very clear and specific plans for how we are going to start loosening up credit once again," he said.

But when Geithner appeared at Treasury the next day, on Feb. 10, he offered few plans of any sort, let alone clear and specific ones, which helps to explain the stock market's 5% plunge that day.

10. Obama's spending cuts...a ways to go

You're eight months behind on your $500,000 mortgage, your bank is demanding a meeting, and you respond by telling them there's nothing to worry about. Why not? Because you just saved $40 by canceling your newspaper subscription.

That, essentially, is the kind of fast budget talk President Obama trotted out in April when he made a big to-do out of instructing his cabinet to cut $100 million from their budgets.

$100 million may sound like a big number, but the cut would only reduce the United States' projected $1.8 trillion budget deficit by 0.005% -- less than what you'd save for your mortgage by giving up the daily paper.

If this stuff keeps up, we may one day have an unbiased Media. Well, maybe not.
