Obama Approval at 42%!

The most recent Zogby online approval rating shows a further deterioration in the President's approval rating to 42%. This comes as his health care bill has stalled in the Congress and the economy continues to perform poorly.

Still further, this shows that mourning over the loss of longtime Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy has not directed further support towards President Obama, who Kennedy famously endorsed last year.

This continued drop in support is far quicker and far deeper than the fall in President Bush's first term approval. In fact, before September 11th, 2001, many polls had him over 50%. Considering how low Bush's approval got by the end of 2005, this seriously questions Obama's chances at a second term.

Further, Obama's approval among young people has taken a nosedive. In the last month it has fallen from 59% to 41%, a rating which rivals Bush's.

The President better get a new agenda or appear on a reality TV show quick, or he might be a one-termer.

On the Verge of a New Iran Crisis

Information is increasingly coming in that tension regarding Iran's nuclear program may be near a breaking point. Western powers have been attempting to negotiate an end to Iran's nuclear program for five years, with Iran building thousands of centrifuges.

Sources of the tension are varied. One of the smaller examples includes arms illegally en route to Iran from North Korea, seized by the UAE. This contravenes UN resolutions and is a material breach of international law.

In addition, Iran's nuclear program may be revealed to be larger and more expansive than previously believed. IAEA chief Mohammed El-Baradei (who won the Nobel prize for 'ending' Iran's nuclear program) was deliberately hiding information which stated that the Iranian military was also assisting the nuclear program. The United States, Britain, Holland, and Japan may assist in releasing this information.

Diplomatic pressure is building as more sanctions are being considered against the Iranian theocracy. France and Germany are now threatening Iran with stiffer economic punishments if it does not cooperate with international mandates regarding its nuclear reactors. This also comes as President Obama placed a September deadline for Iranian agreement.

This also comes as Iran is attempting to gain support for a ban on attacks on nuclear reactors. Over 100 non-aligned nations have already agreed to this in principle.

Feeling the heat, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, "elected" again in June in a horrible fraud, is expected to visit the United Nations on September 23, just eight days after a US deadline to open talks.

A top Iranian professor recently stated: "Iran won't recognize any unilaterally set deadline. "It is planning to give a set of proposals to solve outstanding issues in the near future."

Things are quickly becoming more similar to the situation before the Iraq War in 2003. In 2002, President Bush demanded verification of the end of Saddam's WMD program. Flanked by Western nations, inspectors returned, but Saddam moved to delay any further action. President Obama is again supported by many nations in his attempt to verify Iran's nuclear suspension, but if he acts further, he may be more isolated, just as President Bush was in 2003.

Does President Obama have the courage and determination to stop the Iranian nuclear program?

  1. When Senator Obama was running in the 2008 Democratic primaries, his followers portrayed him as almost messianic. Is this more Obama's doing or that of his followers?

You will have to read Obamanutz to find out. The short answer is a little of both. The Obama campaign used a lot of stage craft and manipulation to create an messianic image which the mainstream media took to absurd extremes. But, he never could have pulled it off unless as sizeable segment of the American voting public wasn’t ripe for the plucking for a variety of reasons.

2. Do you believe that the debate over health care reform has damaged Obama's credibility with middle America?

Yes. He made the faux pas of irking Senior Citizens. Unlike the young Obamanutz who adore him, Seniors actually show up on election day. More often than not, they are sober.

3. What, if anything, do you believe could evolve into a scandal for the Administration?

If the mainstream media continues on it’s current march to extinction and provides cover for Obama, nothing. As I say in Obamanutz (a really good book, by the way), Obama could be found standing over a dead body with a smoking gun and nothing would come of it because the media would refuse to cover it. Eventually, when the truth finally comes out, we will learn that the Obama administration is the most corrupt in American history.

4. Will the decision to prosecute CIA members for alleged abuses of terrorists demonstrably damage the organization's ability to deter terrorism?

Yes, and that is the whole point. Liberals are always trying to dismantle the CIA. They hate it. They tolerate the FBI because they want terrorism to be a law enforcement issue but they hate the CIA the way they hate the military and for the same reasons. Liberals feel threatened by Real Men doing manly stuff. http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/11378)

5. What has been Obama's largest failure so far and why?

Not getting all of the asbestos removed at Altgeld Gardens. The obvious answer is the health care bill. It really ought to be named Soros Care, as George Soros is the architect of the scariest parts. http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/12332 Pretty much everything he does is a flop.

6. What has been his biggest success?

Connning 52% of the voters into voting for him.
