The GOP Should Welcome Gays

The Conservative movement may actually be moving to accept homosexuals, a move that I wholeheartedly support. Gays are caught in the middle right now-- President Obama is against gay marriage and some conservatives, like Dick Cheney are supporting it.

Married gays with adopted kids will likely settle down. Where? Rural or suburban areas. What happens when working married people with kids move to rural or suburban areas? That's right, they become Republicans. Settled gays are more likely to be conservative-- just from a political point of view we need to support this.

But there was some more good news from CPAC:

Is Michael Savage Gay?

Savage's Past Reveals Homosexual Encounters
Erin Mitchell

Radio host Michael Savage has been called controversial, abrasive, and entertaining. The staunch conservative regularly riles up left-wingers on his daily four-hour program.

Savage regularly chronicles his thoughts on President Obama, taxes, herbal medicine, and his dog Teddy. However, the subject which infuriates Savage the most appears to be gay rights. His high-profile MSNBC program was canceled in 2003, after telling a presumed gay caller to "get AIDS and die" on air.

Savage has spoken outlandishly against gays in the past, calling them "degenerates" and members of a "gay mafia." Savage is estimated to spend up to 20% of his on-air time to speaking about homosexual issues, second only to talk about the size of the federal government.

Savage, born Michael Weiner in 1942, has come under increased scrutiny as his fame has increased. In researching Savage's background in 2008, staffers from the MSNBC program Countdown with Keith Olbermann claim to have discovered evidence that the talk show giant may be a closet homosexual.

According to Steven Wekselbaum, who researched Savage's past, Savage's first wife Carol Ely, complained of the lack of sex in their relationship. In text of a letter to her sister, dated 1963 (right before the couple's divorce), Carol stated that "Michael spends more time at the cabarets and the bathhouses than with me. [I have] lost weight, so I dont [sic] understand his problem."

During Savage's tenure on the radio, he has risen to one of the top five largest hosts in the United States. However, during that time, word that Savage conducted various homosexual affairs has leaked to various press outlets. Many of these are unconfirmed rumors, but a specific San Francisco man only identified as "Hal" claims to have a videotape of a 45-minute "rough" sexual encounter.

Savage denies all homosexual allegations, and responded to Olbermann's accusations by calling him "an agent of the homosexual deviant agenda."

Olbermann Admits he is Gay, in Love with Glenn Beck

NYC, NBC HEADQUARTERS- In stark contrast from his usual cool and collected persona, Keith Olbermann made a startling admission in the middle of his highly successful show, Countdown, last night.

"I've been living a lie," Olbermann spouted while coming back from a commercial break. Several moments of silence passed until his production manager could audibly be heard asking if he wanted to continue with his show. "I'll do whatever I want, I'm Keith Olbermann," the host shouted back.

Following the outburst, the primetime anchor stared into the camera for upwards of thirty seconds. Olbermann then continued, "And now today's worst people in the...in the...oh God help me."

Tears then began to trickle down his face. "Cut, cut," Olbermann yelled, but to no avail. "I'm Keith Olbermann and I said cut! Do you know who I am?" Countdown, however, had just returned from a series of commercials, and could not go off-air so soon.

"Fine, you think you're funny, not listening to me? You want to know why I'm so upset," screamed Olbermann, throwing a crumpled piece of paper at the camera. "I'm in love, that's why. Go ahead, laugh, because I'm in pain."

His lip quivering, Olbermann continued. "And who? God, who is right. My worst...an enemy, the worst person in the world today. Glenn Beck. Can you believe that crap? I just...God, I just don't know.

"I had him on the television the other night and I couldn't stop watching. His mannerisms, his voice, his gentle face. I was just smitten. His show is just so...fabulous." Olbermann paused. "I didn't even know I was gay."

The totally not egocentric host then continued his program, counting off his list of the "Worst People in the World" of the day. Lou Dobbs and Chuck Norris were "Worse and Worser," while Glenn Beck was declared the worst person in the world for "making me, Keith Olbermann, turn like a quarter flipped in the air."

Olbermann then looked around for a crumpled piece of paper to throw at a camera, but realized that he already had in anger. He then sighed, saying "I'm Keith Olbermann."
