Charles Johnson Continues to Defend Attack on Autistic Blogger

Last week we were attacked by Charles Johnson for our Obama Thesis piece which was featured on the Rush Limbaugh Show. One of his chief minions, Cato the Elder, attacked a picture of our friend Joe, calling him "hungover" and "pustuled mouth breather." Joe happens to be autistic and we did not take kindly to the insult. Cato refused to apologize, and Johnson instead attacked us again.

And now CJ is up to his old tricks again, attacking us in another feature piece while defending the attack on Joe once again. Charles himself deems that there is a right to attack autistic people:

So what is CJ defending? Take a look:
That's right, folks. We are pathetic because we defend our friend, autistic or not. And the question posed was "not knowing that a person on a blog is autistic gives someone the right to attack them?"

Ray, a proud LGFer who is disgusting bigot who clearly believes that autistic people are sub-humans posted "yes, it gives them the right."

Charles congratulated Ray for spreading the truth-- in other words, let the attack on Joe continue!

LGF Phishing Our Site

In case you haven't heard about our battle with Little Green Footballs, we came under direct attack by a post by Charles Johnson yesterday. After repeated insults, one of his commenter insulted our friend Joe, who is autistic and is featured on the banner of our site. Johnson not only did not take this down, but used it to attack us.

Now I have word from Pamela at Atlas Shrugs that Johnson is using SiteMeter to phish for the commenters and use it to ban them from his own site. This is a violation of our privacy and needs to stop.

Thanks to Atlas Shrugs, RS McCain, Stix Blog, and everyone else who has helped push back against Johnson's aggression.

LGF Attacks Autistic Blogger

UPDATE 10/26: Johnson continues!

Charles Johnson, writer for the formerly great Little Green Footballs, has gone on the record repeatedly stating that if a blog allows an offensive comment, it is as if the writer for the blog had written it themselves.

Well, in a hitpiece against us, Johnson allowed the following comment up on his site:
That picture happens to be of Joseph Chicoine, an autistic 20-year old college student who is a friend of my brother and I. We put a picture of him on the top of our blog, something that made him ecstatic. We made a difference in his life. We put him next to his hero John McCain so that everyone can see him in that light.

And along comes Cato the Elder, who could do nothing better than to insult an innocent autistic gentleman.

What has Charles Johnson done about this? Not only did he start the feeding frenzy, but he's read our blog and knows that it's an autistic student, but he refuses to take the comment down. If HotAir or Rush Limbaugh did this, he would insult them until his fingers bled. Instead, he promotes this sort of personal attack, being a blight on the blogosphere.

Charles, get over yourself and put a retraction.

Have you no shame?

And now the original poster is asking CJ to cover it up. Johnson not only hasn't deleted the comment, but is still trashing us. He needs to not just delete the comment, but place a full retraction immediately.

LGF-- The Site for Losers With a Mentally Deficient Cult Leader

Little Green Footballs, which was once one of the premier websites on all of the interwebs, has really got into the shitter in the last year or so. Recently we posted a satire piece about the President's college thesis and it was picked up by Rush Limbaugh, the Huffington Post, the Washington Independent, Time Magazine, Media Matters, the FoxNation blog, Lou Dobbs, Pajamas Media, and the American Thinker. Pretty good for what he calls a 'crudely written post.' Hey, Charles-- when was the last time one of your articles was read by someone important? Still hanging on those glory days of 2004? Well Dan Rather called. He said that on the way to the asshat factory you really have to get a hold of your bad self.

Good ol' Charles took the time to insult us for 'repeatedly creating sockpuppets.' My brother and I tried to create one account each after we got banned. But it counted as some horrific crime for putting up links on the linkviewer he created for us to use for that purpose. Make sense?

And Charles is leaving comments on our open threads insulting us, including using the same phrases and linking to himself. True, we only had 13 comments compared to his 300, but we try not to ban everyone who doesn't agree with us.

Charles. You are a liar. You are the liar.

Our donation box on our site goes to help troops' families. YOURS goes to your bank account. You call us blog pimpers? You shameless destroy your blog but hold your hand out for money. We promote and want money to go to Soldiers' Angels.

We declare you an enemy of the blogosphere, right and left. Bring it, bitch!

EDIT 11:24pm: We also noticed a particularly offensive comment. CJ regularly edits the comments to death and blames people who allow shitty comments on their sites. Meanwhile LGF has this for comment #29:
That picture, fucktards, is of Joseph Chicoine, who is an autistic friend of ours. He knows we run a blog so we put up a picture of him to make him feel good. Cato the Elder, go fuck yourself. If you want to pick on an autistic student, just remember that you're a lonely loser who has nothing better to do than sit at home, writing comments to pleasure CJ.
