10. Instead of trying to be funny, it just tries to be outrageous. Funny, huh?

7. Half of comedy is the delivery of the joke. When there is no joke and you can't deliver it, well, that doesn't end well.
6. Instead of being smart-stupid with jokes, the show is now just stupid-stupid.
5. Hey, remember when Family Guy had original plots? Yeah, neither do I.
4. Long, unfunny jokes that seem to go on forever.

Will Farrell: What a Loser

After blowing his career on Saturday Night Live, former star Will Farrell has decided to attempt to recreate his career by doing an act that made him famous-- like ten years ago. The actor, who has been in about 45 movies since 2002, but has achieved but one hit (Elf), is hitting Broadway to play President George W. Bush. This play, called "You're Welcome America: A Final Night with George W. Bush," is one of the hottest things on stage, as effete chardonay drinkers pretend to get something in common with the average serf.

And looking for the laughs that he hasn't been getting since leaving Saturday Night Live, he really pulls no punches:

Pointless? Pretty much, but near the end of the show things turn tasteless as well. Ferrell/Bush asks the audience for a moment of silence to honor our troops who died in Iraq and Afghanistan. At the performance I saw, most of the audience members went silent but a few tittered nervously. Who can blame them? This is a comedy show. They were expecting a gag, and they soon got one.

After a few seconds of silence a phone on the stage rings, and everyone laughs. The relief is palpable. Hurrah! That thing about honoring our war dead? It really was just the setup to a joke!

Well, we should all be appreciative of another actor's opinion on politics. It's only fitting that we pay attention with mouths agape.
