Comedy Central Religious Intolerance.

I have one basic principle in life: If you must insult the race and religion of someone, insult every race and religion in the world, including your own. Comedy Central should consider adopting a principle such as mine, because their current gameplan of insulting Christians, through insulting Jesus, while coddling to Islamic Terrorists, isn't a smart one.

Call me ignorant, but doesn't it seem strange that Comedy Central will not stand up for one of their own programs on the basis of Free Speech, when it involves insulting the religion of Islam, while at the same time launching a program directed at insulting Christians, or about 80% of the American population.

I smell the smell of hypocrisy.

Does anyone else have a problem with this? Not with the fact that Comedy Central is launching a program bashing Jesus, which I actually have a big personal problem with, but with the fact that Comedy Central will not touch the religion of Islam, out of fear of death, but they'll openly attack the religion of Christian, without a care in the world.

What would our Founding Fathers think about this situation? Not only would they be appalled by the catastropic downfall of moral standards in America, but they would be astonished by the fact that our enemies controll our fears, and that our lives revolved around that fear. Hard to imagine our Founders being "politically correct" when calling British soldiers Red Coats.

In the end: Christians will be bashed, Muslims will be coddled, and America will continue its' suicidal decline into the unknown abyss of relative unknowns. I concur with my fellow blogger Mike, that a boycott of Comedy Central might be a good idea, although I don't think most Christian, or sane individuals for that matter; are watching that channel to begin with, thus removing the need for a boycott.

Comedy Central: Can't Show One Picture of Muhammad, But IS Making an Entire Show about Jesus Christ

I'm just going to say it: Comedy Central must be run by a bunch of intolerant, free speech trampling morons. That's right folks, the television station that refused to show Muhammad twice is now making an ENTIRE SHOW making fun of Jesus Christ. How is that for religious tolerance?

This is so stupid I just cannot fathom it. Words can't express how imbecilic this truly is, and the words that I could use would make a stereotypical drunken sailor blush. This may sound nuts, but I actually think that Christians and any First Amendment lover in this nation should consider boycotting Comedy Central. I never say stuff like this because it's kind of crazy, but this stuff is just too far.

One picture of Muhammad. They just couldn't bring themselves to do it. Just one, in which Muhammad was not even criticized or made fun of. Yet Comedy Central is open to making an entire show about Jesus Christ, whom Christians believe was and is the Son of God. Heck, Muhammad was only a prophet in Islam, not the only child of our Lord.

This is just ridiculously irritating to me. Leave a comment and let them hear your voice. Email Comedy Central, email this article, spread the word. This has to stop.

Bernie Goldberg, George Washington and Jon Stewart.

Bernie Goldberg, a well known critic of the "Lamestream Media" and Jon Stewart, published an interesting article on his website yesterday, dealing with "mis-information" on the Internet, the vulgar nature of Jon Stewart fans, and a call for civil discourse between liberal and conservative commenters on his website.

For those who are unaware: Jon Stewart and Bernie Goldberg have been bickering at each other over the course of the part week, and Stewart fans have invaded the Bernard Goldberg website posting downright disgusting and insulting comments. Unlike a general Town Hall meeting or an established debate between opposing figures; The Internet is the wild west, and attitudes can be detestable.

Despite the fact that I have a Web site, I’ve never been much of a web guy. Yes, there’s lot of interesting stuff out there, but there’s also a lot of garbage. And worse.
I’m sure that there’s info someplace on the Web explaining how George Washington was born in Saudi Arabia and is the son of a Martian mother and Puerto Rican father.

And some poor kid in third grade, assigned to do a book report on our first president, will put that crap in his paper, thinking it’s all true. But the fact is, as many of you know, anybody can put anything on the web anytime he or she wants.

After a bad experience with Wikipedia, when someone posted malicious information about me, I went on Fox and said that whatever else Wikipedia is, it’s also a platform for anonymous defamation. People put all sorts of misinformation on the site. Yes, I know there are mechanisms to delete slanderous material, but it’s up there for the world to see, until the victim learns of it – if he ever does – and takes it down.

There's no reason for one to disagree with Bernie Goldberg when it comes to the Internet. I'm sure there is a website that has been launched proclaiming President George Washington is the son of a Saudi Arabian pirate, and it's true that attitudes and discussions on the Internet are distasteful and downright disgusting. Jumping in Pools is well aware of this: We faced off against Little Green Footballs, who attacked an Autistic blogger, and refused to refute previous insults or comments.

The truth is this: Liberals are vile, Liberals are hostile and Liberals will always be on the losing side of the argument, thus we shouldn't expect anything better from the deranged viewers of Jon Stewart, a man who some are dubbing the face of "liberalism on television". If he's their point man, than we shouldn't have much trouble winning back the House or Senate in 2010.

Also, where are the Conservative comedians, the satirical Conservative television shows and the Comical Conservative criticism of liberal ideals? That's what I want to know, perhaps we can deal with Jon Stewart on smart terms: You can bash us all you want, as long as you guarantee us a Conservative show on your network.

Think he'll consider that deal? Neither do I.

Jihadists Angry About South Park-- Can We Just Offer them Sarah Silverman?

The Islamists in this country are angry at Trey Parker and Matt Stone for almost putting-- *gasp*-- up a picture of Mohammed in their episode. Not only this, they threatened to kill them, or as they put it it would be 'unfortunate' if they just happened to be suicide-bombed.

So I offer a compromise.

The jihadists are angry at American comedy, I guess (even though most of it bashes Bush and other people the jihadis don't like). And maybe they're angry at Comedy Central specifically (even though they wussed out at the end). So why don't we just give them Sarah Silverman and call it even?

I think it would save a lot of harm and get her to shut the hell up. I think it would go something like this:

I know some people on this blog (Mike) don't like Jon Stewart, but this is great. Last week, Stewart was supposed to have Rick Santelli on his show. Instead, Santelli cancelled his appearance and Stewart gave a hilarious takedown of CNBC's financial coverage. This caught the ire of a lot of people on CNBC, especially Jim Cramer, the high-strung host of Mad Money. Stewart had him on last night, and his subsequent undressing of Cramer is priceless.
