Obama "Bounce" Gone

Some disconcerting news if you're on the Obama side of the health care debate. Apparently the modest approval increase that the President enjoyed after the passage of the reform bill has dissipated and could spell worse news for the President.

The spike in President Obama's Gallup approval ratings seems to have disappeared. As health care reform moved toward its denouement, the President's approval briefly moved upward, from an upside-down 46%-48% in the March 15-17 sample, to a 50%-43% rating on the eve of the vote. It went as high as 51%-43% during the previous week. In today's report, however, the President splits 46%-46% in the poll of adults, tying the lowest approval rating of his Administration.
Maybe this will wind up being a losing issue, after all.

The Hutaree is a radical militia organization.

Big news out of Chicago's local NBC affiliate:

The FBI arrested at least seven people throughout the Midwest this weekend, including one in Chicago's western suburbs, in what several reports are calling an apparent crackdown on a militia-like group of religious fanatics.

The suburban Chicago arrest happened in Clarendon Hills, where a person wanted by the FBI in Detroit was taken into custody Sunday morning.

The FBI raided a home in the 1900 block of Calumet Avenue in Whiting, Ind. Saturday evening looking for the same person, but it was not until early Sunday that the arrest was made, according to the FBI.

FBI agents shut down the street for several hours while executing their warrant, according to an employee of nearby Gusto's Pizza, who requested anonymity.

"They wouldn't even let us leave, wouldn't let us get no orders in or out," he said.

An FBI agent said the home's resident -- a Caucasian man who lived there with his brother -- was suspected of making bombs, according to the employee. He said he saw FBI agents took several boxes out of the home, and take away at least two dogs.

The dogs "had been trained to do bodily harm," said the employee.

FBI officials would say only that the arrest warrant is sealed, and more information is not currently available.

However, the AP is reporting that raids were also made in two Michigan counties near the Ohio border this weekend, and two people were also arrested in northwest Ohio.

WXYZ-TV reported that one of the raids centered on a Michigan property where suspected members of a militia live. The station also reported that other militia groups are saying the raids are all connected -- but the FBI has not confirmed that.

The Detroit News is reporting that the FBI raids are targeting a Christian militia group called the Hutaree. Members of the group describe themselves as "Christian soldiers who are preparing for the arrival and battle with the anti-Christ," the paper reported.

There seems to be some confusion about who the FBI is seeking out. Mike Lackomar, who's involved with a group named Michigan Militia, told the paper neither his organization nor The Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia were involved in any way.

Lackomar called the Hutaree "a religious cult," which is not involved with the Michigan militia community, the Detroit News reported.

According Lackomar, members of the Hutaree group allegedly made violent threats toward Islamic groups, which may have prompted the raids.

I've been reading into the "cults" website, www.hutaree.com, and it is nothing but radical insane rhetoric from Individuals who don't understand a verse in the Bible. I see mentions of a Colonial Christian Republic, training videos to prepare for the final war "against the Anti-Christ" on the battlegrounds, and their "rank" system is freaking the shit out of me:

PARABLES OF THE SOLDIER Ranking officers and commanders; serve your men for you lead them; humble before your team. Cause you may be a leader of flesh but in heaven leaders are of spirit.

LOW RANKING SOLDIERS AND GRUNTS Respect the officer above you and obey your commander with dignity. Each man holds his place in flesh and spirit, heaven and earth.

YOUR PLACE A servant is not above his master and a master not above his lord. All masters have had a master before an apprentice.

CHRISTIANS? I THINK NOT!

Is American greatness over?

When the American populace no longer believes in American greatness, our Nation will fall and fail, and all that we have achieved and accomplished over the past 200 years will turn to dust and ash. According to Rasmussen Reports, Americans are doubting our future more than ever, something I never thought could happen to our Nation.

Just 27% of U.S. voters now think the United States will still be the most powerful nation in the world at the end of the 21st century, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. That's down eight points from the previous survey in February just after a highly-publicized U.S. military surge in Afghanistan.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/march_2010/only_27_say_u_s_will_remain_most_powerful_nation

39% of Americans believe our Nation will not be the World's strongest Nation come nine decades from now, and 35% of Americans are unsure what to believe. On a scale of American opinion I'm fearful for the future of our Nation, because we are Americans, we never doubt ourselves, until now.

I swear that President Obama was the worst thing that could ever happen to our Nation, we're now a Nation of doubters, how can we move forward into a prosperous atmosphere if our fellow Americans doubt their own Nation! We're not strong. We're not united. We're not succeeding. If things don't start to change, come nine decades from now, we'll be under Chinese rule.

Our people control our future. Right now, our people doubt our future. What does that mean for our future?
