Iranian Police Kill Opposition Leader's Nephew, Four Others

Clashes between Iran's "security forces" and protesters continue to grow as the disputed election is still fresh in the minds of Iranians. Our Main Stream Media, continues to ignore the democracy movement in Iran, finding it more interesting to report on "Hollywood Couples that Make it Last." This is with the large exception of Fox News, which may not even be part of what we know as the MSM.

Well, maybe now they'll start paying attention. Fox News is reporting that the nephew of Iran's opposition party leader, Mir Hossein Mousavi, has been killed by Iranian police. Along with him perished four other protesters.

What can I say? Family members of Mousavi being murdered in the streets of Iran and the rest of the world is silent. Iran fights for democracy and our media closes its eyes. How have we come to this? Are we not the beacon of democracy for the world?

It is one thing to say that reports from Iran are difficult to obtain because of the Iranian government's lockdown on information. In fact, Fox's article mentions it specifically. But to say absolutely nothing is almost a crime in itself.

What can I say? I stand with the people of Iran.

Iran Government Represses Popular Uprising; Where's Obama and the Main Stream Media?

The post-election turmoil in Iran continues as thousands of students gather in the streets of Tehran to demand freedom. Their free speech and right to assemble is being mercilessly crushed by the Iranian military on the orders of the government itself. Yet the televisions and the teleprompters remain silent in the greatest beacon of democracy on the planet: our United States.

You may remember months ago that an incredibly fraudulent election took place in Iran, with incumbent President Mahmud Ahmadinejad "winning" reelection over challenger Mir Hossein Musavi. The "votes" were counted and showed irrefutable proof that much of the election was faked, including cases where votes "cast" were actually more than the number of registered voters in many regions.

Eventually the Main Stream Media picked up on the story and it was headline news for a few days. After that, as the President saw that popular American support was behind the protesters in Iran, Mr. Obama made a wishy-washy speech about Iran, talks, and voting. He stated that he supported the "right" of Iranians, but did not mention the election results or the fraud within.

But soon, both the President and the MSM fell silent. Lured by more shiny topics, the media and Administration left Iranian students' rights behind. Six months later, the protests in Iran continue. The people of Iran still call out for freedom. The people of Iran call out for the very hope that our President campaigned on.

Where is President Obama? Sir, you promised hope and change and a new world when you were seeking election. Now, as the beleaguered yet resilient people of Iran call out for the things you promised, they are greeted by your silence. How can you stand idley by and not defend the burgeoning rights of Iranian students? Not a speech, not a paragraph, not a sentence, not a word.

The same goes for our Main Stream Media. Where is the support for democracy and free speech? Apparently, the MSM and our President seem to take these rights for so granted that they ignore the rights of others.

I stand with the people of Iran.

When Three Terrorists Were Waterboarded, Obama Raised Hell. In Iran, Protesters Against a Rigged Election are Tortured to Death. Obama's Response: Uhh

Something that I saw on BBC that really pisses me off if that an unspecified amount of people who protested against the rigged 'elections' in Iran two months ago were apparently tortured to death by security forces. Even worse, both males and females who opposed the regime were systematically raped.

The opposition has claimed, and probably correctly, that at least 69 people have been killed by the Iranian government for protesting the 'election' results. In addition, over 100 political prisoners are being held and could be put to death.

Candidate and President Obama went out of his way to apologize that the United States waterboarded three terrorists. Yes, it's torture, and it's bad, but these people included an operations chief and the man who planned out the September 11th, 2001 attacks which killed almost 3,000 people. Quite frankly, if I was in a room with Khalid Mohammed, waterboarding would be the least of that fuckwit's worries.

Obama also torturously blamed the United States for the Guantanamo Bay terrorist holding facility. For years the whining about 'torture' by the US reached a fevered pitch by many on the Left. Now that true torture, including murder, rape, and politcal prisoners, is occuring... where's Obama?

Is he on a flight to the Mideast to discuss with regional leaders the illitimacy of the Iranian theocracy? No. Is he meeting with allies to discuss the nuclear weapons program? No. For a guy who supposedly stands against torture and for treating allies well, he's doing a really, really poor job of it.

Obama: get out a book and learn something about Iran. If I have to hear you say that the proud 'Arab' people of Iran.... and how it's all America's fault while innocent people are getting raped and tortured to death by terrorist fundamentalists, I think I'm going to vomit.

Did Iran Attack Twitter?

Twitter was recently put offline due to an online attack. The attack overloaded the system and gave the message of "denial of service."

So far Twitter does not know exactly who launched the cyber-attack, but it appears coordinated and malicious.

So who would have the resources to attack Twitter? An online corporation or a country would definitely fit the bill. What about motive? Facebook has had its market curtailed by Twitter, but still remains on the top of the heap. Other corporations use/are in partnership with Twitter.

Which leads us to Iran. Iranian dissdents have famously used Twitter to circumvent the blocking of communications by the theocracy. Iran would have two reasons to attack Twitter: One is to punish the site for helping dissidents, including a famous delay of site maintenance to help the resistance. In addition, Twitter is still being used to coordinate anti-mullah activities.

Shutting down such a powerful site, even temporarily, would show that Iran does not joke around and intends to, as President Ahmadinejad recently said, will punch their enemies in the face.

How Obama Has Doomed 134.7 Million People

Rarely in history has a President of the United States acted so quickly, so poorly, and so ineffectively. Not even the infamous Jimmy Carter can hold a candle to how President Obama has handled situations on the ground in Iraq, the Military Base in Guantanamo, or relations aboard the Apology Express in Europe. But no, though the "Commander in Chief" stumbled and fell throughout those mentioned, they are not the worst things he has done.

No, our Chosen One has done much more egregious things that will almost definitely cripple the lives of all involved. In his very young Presidency, there are three groups of people that the President has hurt almost irrevocably: the coming generation of children in the United States, the population of Iran, and the people of the country of Georgia.

You may be surprised to learn about Georgia, since it hasn't been in the news since Russia invaded it last August, claiming they were attacking a "sovereign" neighbor. Since then, the country has fallen from the limelight, and from Obama's mind. While President Bush was in office, he concentrated on countries that were not necessarily in the eye of the world community. Albania, Georgia, and Kosovo were small nations that the former President paid attention to, a couple of which President Obama could point out on the map. Bush fostered the relationship with them, Obama has forgotten.

But why are the 4.7 million citizens of Georgia doomed? Well, President Obama's "new" foreign policy with Russia has been, in his words, "reset." Of course, the symbolic button that the Secretary of State actually said "overlord," which is what Russia has become to Georgia. Georgia is no longer politically important to the world's most popular leader, so it is not important. Russia is bearing down on it's neighbor, and Obama turns a blind eye.

The coming generation of children, which will be the next 25 years, will have approximately 60 million. What can I say; you know it's coming. A stimulus bill, a possible second stimulus bill, the crap & tax bill that has God-knows-what in it, selling our debt to China, and (wait for it) universal health care that will not insure every one and cost over a trillion dollars.

The taxes will be unbelievable. I cannot fathom what the President is thinking when he proposes more and more spending. Does he know what inflation is? Does he know what borrowed time and borrowed money is? Apparently not.

And the saddest one of all: the 70,000,000 people of Iran. When the clearly corrupt took place, which had Ahmadinejad winning more than 100% of the vote in some regions, the President's ingenious plan was to stay quiet. Slowly, but surely, as the Media covered it and polls called for a responce from the President, Obama stepped up his "outrage."

Now, you may ask, Mr. Blog-Writer, why didn't the President speak up in the first place? Well, try not to laugh, the President believed that a tyrannical theocracy wouldn't dare to say the West instigated the revolts if he kept his mouth shut. Guess what, that untrusting government that rigged an election came out and said that we (the US and UK) caused the protests. I can't believe that a government that lies to its people and the world would even fathom blaming someone else for their problems.

Now, the protesters have no support from the United States because the President didn't see the political gain in helping them. He was desperate to keep an idiotic campaign promise to a dictatorial government. Are we responsible for the revolts in Iran? Of course not. People are rallying for freedom and liberty. But you'd be damned to find Obama saying that.

So three countries, Iran, the United States, and Georgia, have felt the hurt of a President who cannot seem to organize a speech around results, but can sure kill a fly. We are five glorious months into President Obama's administration and oh the price we've paid.
