Our Armed Forces are too small.

I believe the United States Armed Forces has to be increased, immediately. If not for the reason our Military is smaller than all of our foes combined, than for the fact we're relying on a minority of epic proportions to protect three hundred million American citizens. We can debate the economics about this later, but for now, please consider these statistics:

1. The population of the United States is 310,000,000.

2. 118,000,000 Americans are fit for Military Service.

3. Our Armed Forces total 3,400,000 service members.

Do the above mentioned numbers bother anyone else? Because it bothers me that our Nation is relying on just 1.1% of the population to defend the other 98.9%, and that only 40% of that 1.1% are Active Duty. Call me crazy, but that's cause for concern, especially when our Armed Forces rank only 8th in the world in size.

What say you?

As to how we can afford an expansion of the Military:

Cut the Department of Health and Human Services ($900 billion).
Cut the Department of Agriculture ($110 billion).
Cut the Department's of Education and HUD ($85 billion).

We'll have an extra $1.1 trillion to spend on the Military and the Debt.

The American Flag - With 51 Stars.

Let's assume that Puerto Rico does become a State one of these years: what would Old Glory look like with 51 Stars, instead of the current 50 State Star Design? That's a good question, but there's an answer most Americans will not like, including myself.

Here's the first more traditional proposal:

Here's the second non-traditional proposal:

I don't know about most Americans, but if that second Flag design was ever approved as our United States Flag, I would probably burn every single one I ever came upon, because to me that wouldn't be the Flag of my County, but rather it would be a National Disgrace.

What say you?

How America has Transformed.

What was one of the most successful cash crops of the Southern Plantations for years, decades, and centuries? Tobacco. And to be perfectly honest, Tobacco is still a major cash crop in the Southern United States, even in this century, and that's never going to change in this Nation. Unless, of course, the federal government outlaws smoking.

That would never happen! Right?

According to a new poll of 1,000 American Adults from Rasmussen Reports, a large percentage of voters actually support the Government outlawing the act of smoking Tobacco. Did I wake up in the Twilight Zone, does freedom not matter anymore; 26% of American Adults actually believe the Government should outlaw smoking!

Goodness!

I cannot wait until the federal government outlaws Tobacco - will see a national crime wave of Tobacco bootlegging. Instead of the likes of Al Capone, we'll have the likes of Southern Tobacco Farmers, struggling after the government shut them down. Is this what Americans want?

The Nannies want to take away Tobacco. What's next?

Oy Vey.

PS - This article was not the result of being bought off by the Tobacco Industry, though I wouldn't mind being bought off by Tobacco Farmers and would appreciate any offer that does become available to be sent to my email - aaaabraves@yahoo.com

What in the Hell is going on in this World?

"It's the end of the World as we know it" might be a little too strong to define the current state of world affairs, but "what in the Hell is going on in this World" sums it up nicely; considering every political, war associated, and economic action is the exact opposite of Common Sense.

While the United States is steam rolling towards socialized medicine; Canada is running back towards limited market based health care solutions.

While the rogue North Koreans can murder four dozen South Korean sailors without severe condemnation; the lone Middle Eastern Democracy, Israel, is being internationally condemned, following a brief naval battle where Israeli Sailors were defending themselves against Islamic Terrorists.

While the United States economy added just 41,000 private sector jobs last month (caused Wall Street to drop over 300 points); the President is declaring a recovery based on 390,000 Census Bureau (temporary) jobs being filled last month.

Am I living in Oz? Why else would everything in the entire world be so lopsided towards stupidity, if it wasn't for me being transported to Oz; where the cowardly Lion is our Commander-In-Chief. Call me insane, or crazy, but things just don't make sense anymore.

The Czech Republican leadership is becoming Israel's lone steadfast Western ally. Capitalism and fiscal sense is spreading across the world; with the exception of America. And MLB Umpires are now completely blind as bats.

Perhaps I'm reliving an old episode of Seinfeld; when the main character of the show is living in a bizarro world (he's the same, but everyone else is 180 degrees in the opposite direction). I just don't get it - what would cause our system to collapse so damn quickly?

Answer: The election of Barack Obama as President instantly set us on a collision course with socialized medicine, weakening relations with Israel, weakening opposition to North Korea, a Private Sector without an advocate, and a world without a vigorous watchman of Freedom. I don't believe Obama is a "foreign plant" from Europe, but I do think he prefers European seeds.

Above all else in 2012: America must elect a strong leader. One that will never leave our allies side, that will never sweet talk our enemies, and that will never advocate a Euro-American system. Americans need and deserve a Leader, not a follower, as President of our great Nation.

Political Correctness on Steroids.

If Congressional Democrats propose legislation to shut down Private Media, I might support it, considering all of the awful news coming from all four corners of America. Of course I'm being sarcastic about the first part, but not about the second part - The news is downright annoying and depressing.

Take for example: Five Morgan Hill students sent home for wearing American flag T-shirts. That's right! Five American teenagers were sent home from school, for wearing the American flag! Why? Because they donned the American flag T-shirts on Cinco De Mayo.

What has happened to our Nation? We elevate Mexican holidays (Spoiler alert: This is America) over the First Amendment. We punish five American teenagers for being Patriotic. We now send home students who wear the American Flag? What the hell has happened to this Nation!

I'm proud to be an American citizen. I love this Nation and I'm willing to Die for this Nation, so that we may remain the Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free. But if we can no longer wear our Flag in public, because it might offend someone - what's the point of doing anything for America anymore.

I'm in a bad mood and I dare anyone to challenge me.

Merry Independence Day

Hey All,

I would like to please wish all of our readers and all Americans a very merry Fourth of July. We're now 233 years old, and still looking pretty good.

To our Constitution and our spirit we our our freedoms and our liberties. To our military we owe so much. We must try and have faith in our government and go forward together, making sure that we leave the world better than we found it.

With all of the troubles around the world, we must remember that we are Americans, ready to help; free and independent.

We Stand For Unity

President-Elect Barack Obama is speaking right now. On January 20, 2009, he will become our nation's 44th President. It is important that Americans stand together. We are in times of trouble and turmoil and need to be united against our common problems.

Obama will be my President and if we should face crises, he will be my President then. I may disagree with him, but he will be protecting my nation. It is my duty to give him the benefit of the doubt as he comes into office.

It is my sincerest hope that our economy improves, dictatorship is turned back, and freedom rings across the world as it has in America tonight.
