Dino Rossi continues to lead Pat Murray.

According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll, Republican Dino Rossi is leading Democratic Senator Patty Murray by 2% in Washington's red hot senatorial race. This is the first time since early-to-mid July that Mr.Rossi has come ahead in Rasmussen polling, even though SurveyUSA has him in the lead as of two weeks ago by 7%.

Rasmussen Survey of 750 Washington Likely Voters:
Dino Rossi (R) - 48%.
Pat Murray (D) - 46%.
Undecided voters - 6%.

Not good news for the 18 year Senator, especially when you consider her two-month long lead over Dino Rossi in Rasmussen polls, and the fact that 50% of Washington voters now disapprove of President Obama, who won their state by almost 20% in 2008. It appears Conservatism is overtaking the Pacific North West (Joe Miller in Alaska, Chris Dudley in Oregon, and Dino Rossi in Washington).

Any thoughts?

Feingold Continues to Trail in Wisconsin Race.

Democratic Senator Russ Feingold continues to trail rightwing Republican Businessman Ron Johnson in the state of Wisconsin, according to a new poll from Rasmussen Reports. Johnson is a lifelong man of business, and his unexpected strength against Senator Feingold, a lifelong politician from a state that is definitely progressive, has been well documented by Jumping in Pools over the past few months (last link is to latest poll):

June 22 - Feingold vs. Johnson:

Russ Feingold (D) - 46%.
Ron Johnson (R) - 45%.
Other/Undecided - 9%.

July 29 - Feingold vs. Johnson:

Ron Johnson (R) - 48%.

Russ Feingold (D) - 46%.
Other/Undecided - 6%.

August 11 - Feingold vs. Johnson:

Ron Johnson (R) - 47%.
Russ Feingold (D) - 46%.
Other/Undecided - 7%.

As you can see, Senator Feingold's support hasn't increased or decreased in two months, while Mr.Johnson's support has remained the same, besides for a few fence sitters that are currently leaning in his direction. And with the election just under 12 weeks/3 months from now, both Senator Feingold and Mr.Johnson should beg for a major/huge scandal to break, or else the results of this election cannot and will not be known until election night.

Who will Indiana vote for in 2012? Not Obama.

President Barack Obama won Indiana by a whopping 28,391 votes in 2008, along with their crucial 11 electoral votes. And he accomplished all of that without winning more than 20% of the counties within the state, and while Governor Mitch Daniels (R) won reelection with over 57% of the vote.

Was Indiana apart of a dramatic political realignment?

Absolutely not.

Indiana might have fallen for Obama's message of "Hope and Change" in 2008, but the Hoosiers are now singing a new tune in 2010: "Coats for Senate". According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll on Indiana's Senate race, Mr.Coats is leading his Democratic opponent by 21%, while Mitch Daniels is enjoying a 65% approval rating.

However, that's not the biggest story out of Indiana. According to that same Rasmussen Reports poll, which documents a Dan Coats' lead and a popular Daniels' in Indiana, President Obama has huge problems with the Hoosier electorate, especially on a personal level - his approval rating is 39%, and his disapproval rating is 60%.

I'm flashing back to the 2004 Presidential Election. You know, when then President George W. Bush won Indiana with 60% of the vote, and Senator John Kerry could only muster a measly 39% of the vote. Those were the days, and it appears our political landscape could once again recapture the magic of Bush Mania.

Indiana (1.04%), North Carolina (0.32%) and Missouri (0.14%) were the three closest states during the last Presidential election. However, after 19 months of President Barack Obama in charge, all three of those states are looking forward to a Republican sweep in 2012.

Thoughts?

Hayworth trails Democrat opponent in Arizona.

Supporters of Senator John McCain often tout his fiscal discipline, his record on National Defense and our Troops, and his common Conservatism that has led to a 81% rating from the ACU. But, I have a feeling that McCainiacs will soon be adding Only McCain Can Win Arizona in their touted reasons.

According to a new poll from Ramussen Reports, Senator John McCain is leading his potential Democratic opponent by close to 20%. However, McCain's Republican foe, JD Hayworth, trails their common Democratic opponent by 5%, and close to 30% of pro-McCain voters obviously will not support Hayworth if he is the eventual Republican Nominee (at least for now).

Rasmussen Reports Survey of 500 Likely Voters:

Sen. John McCain (R) - 53%.
Rodney Glassman (D) - 34%.
Some other candidate - 11%.
Not Sure - 3%.

Rodney Glassman (D) - 43%.
Rep. JD Hayworth (R) - 38%.
Some other candidate - 13%.
Not Sure - 6%.

This poll is shocking. I have always figured that if Hayworth were to beat McCain, that at least the Senate seat would remain in Republican hands and that we would have a National Defense supporter oncemore. That last part now means nothing, because Hayworth cannot win, McCain can, and only McCain will.

Who to support: Didier or Rossi?

According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll out of Washington state, Senator Patty Murray (D) is trailing both of her potential Republican opponents: former football player Chris Didier, and two time Gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi. Leaving Washington Republicans with a grand chance to defeat the liberalist of Senator's in a deep blue state.

However, with the Senatorial election no longer about selecting a token candidate, Republicans must take into account what kind of Senator their eventual Nominee would be. And when we look at that, Chris Didier doesn't belong within 10,000 miles of Washington D.C., let alone being the GOP candidate for US Senate anywhere.

Clint Didier on National Defense:

1. America should withdrawal all Troops from all Overseas Bases.

2. America should not be involved in International Affairs.

3. Distorts Reagan policy of "Peace through Strength".

4. Disagrees with Bush Doctrine on Nations harbouring Terrorists.

5. Distorts Congressional Approval of Wars in Middle East.

6. Wants America to leave the UN immediately.

7. Does not believe in "Free Trade Agreements".

8. Was endorsed by Congressman Ron Paul two weeks ago.

He might wrap his "Isolationism Flag" with the Founders, but he's really wrapping it with Ron Paul, Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, and other Libertarian fruitcakes. When Republicans control the Senate again, we need pro-national defense members in our Caucus, not anti-defense nuts who join the Democratic Caucus on what really matters.

Didier is unqualified for the Republican Nomination, and Sarah Palin is a jackass for endorsing this clown.

How America has Transformed.

What was one of the most successful cash crops of the Southern Plantations for years, decades, and centuries? Tobacco. And to be perfectly honest, Tobacco is still a major cash crop in the Southern United States, even in this century, and that's never going to change in this Nation. Unless, of course, the federal government outlaws smoking.

That would never happen! Right?

According to a new poll of 1,000 American Adults from Rasmussen Reports, a large percentage of voters actually support the Government outlawing the act of smoking Tobacco. Did I wake up in the Twilight Zone, does freedom not matter anymore; 26% of American Adults actually believe the Government should outlaw smoking!

Goodness!

I cannot wait until the federal government outlaws Tobacco - will see a national crime wave of Tobacco bootlegging. Instead of the likes of Al Capone, we'll have the likes of Southern Tobacco Farmers, struggling after the government shut them down. Is this what Americans want?

The Nannies want to take away Tobacco. What's next?

Oy Vey.

PS - This article was not the result of being bought off by the Tobacco Industry, though I wouldn't mind being bought off by Tobacco Farmers and would appreciate any offer that does become available to be sent to my email - aaaabraves@yahoo.com

Arkansas supports Boozman 61-32%.

According to a new report from Rasmussen Reports, the most accurate polling firm in the business, Arkansas voters are behind Republican Congressman John Boozman by a 61-32% margin over Democratic Senator Blanche Lincoln with just 4.5 months until election day. Not a surprise at all to anyone who has been paying attention.

Congressman Boozman is a through and through Conservative on almost every issue, and after twelve years of Blanche Lincoln and her 90% liberal voting record, Arkansas voters are sick and tired of supporting pseudo Conservative Democrats, and thus are beginning a complete political transformation to the Republican Party.

We need to win 10 Democrat controlled United States Senate seats in order to reclaim control of the Senate for the upcoming 112th United States Congress, and Mr.Boozman's campaign is 10% of what we need. Please keep an eye on the Senatorial races across our Nation, but don't even bother looking at Arkansas - it's in the Republican bag.

Boozman (R) - 61%.
Lincoln (D) - 32%.
Someone else - 4%.
Undecided - 3%.

Castle Up 23% in Delaware

Current Congressman at large from Delaware, Mike Castle, is currently well ahead in the Senate race to succeed the former seat of Vice President Joe Biden. Castle, the former governor of the state, is leading Democrat Chris Coons. Not only is Castle leading, the deficit has grown by two percent.

The results:

Castle 55 (+2 vs. last poll, 2/22)
Coons 32 (unch)
Und 7 (-1)

So it looks like the GOP will pick up a seat held by the Dems for 30 years in a fairly blue state. Keep it coming.

Obama Approval Down to 43%

Barack Obama is tied with his lowest approval rating yet, with his numbers dipping to 43% in a recent Rasmussen poll. Rasmussen is the most accurate of the major pollsters and successfully called both the 2004 and 2008 elections.

Forty-two percent (42%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 72% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major political party, 17% Strongly Approve and 45% Strongly Disapprove. Fifty-seven percent (57%) believe that passage of the proposed health care legislation will hurt the economy. Just 25% believe it will help.

And to make matters worse, the number who strongly disapprove of Obama's performance are equal to the number that approve.

Damning: CNN Poll Has Obama Approval Under 50%

Gallup, Rasmussen, and Fox News Polls Have President's Approval Under 50% as Well

For the last few weeks, I have been closely monitoring the Presidential Approval Rating of Barack Obama. In that time, I have noted the times when he fell below fifty percent by at least three polling sources. Yet, I have recieved numerous complaints saying that my sources are "biased," and that the President's approval rating is much higher than what they were showing.

Now, the facts are in.

CNN now tracks the President's approval at 48%. Regardless of the fact that Fox News, Gallup, and Rasmussen confirm that Mr. Obama's approval is under 50%, CNN's poll can speak for itself. It cannot be argued that CNN has it out for the President, that they want him to fail, that they are biased against him. Using the logic of those who stated that we cannot use the numbers of Rasmussen or Fox, I will only use CNN's:

Our President's Approval is at 48% and his Disapproval is at 50%. In other words, more people disapprove of how the President is handling his job than those who approve.

The Honeymoon is officially over. The facts cannot be denied.

Yeah, Right: CNN Places Obama Approval at 58%

The Daily Kos is known for doing their own polling (in cooperation with Research 2000) and coming uo with misleading results. For example, their equivalent of "Do you believe that President Obama is doing a good job as President" is "Do you think President Obama is a nice person." It might provide results for the second question, but it is prominently placed near the top of the site as his 'approval.'

ABC and CBS (especially the latter) have become infamous for their misleading poll results. Often, they placed Obama's polls during his run at 5% over others-- because they played hooky with statistics. CBS would intentionally "oversample" black Americans by 10% for th poll, thus pushing up Obama's numbers.

The most accurate of all of the polls has been Rasmussen, which almost pegged the last two Presidential races exactly.

But CNN, which is usually fairly accurate, came out with a strange figure today.

According to the latest CNN Research Dynamics poll, President Obama's approval has spiked to 58%. While this may seem plausible due to his primetime speech, it also appears unlikely due to simple statistical means. The average of all of the other polls on RealClearPolitics was 52.0%. This would mean that CNN's poll would be 6% higher, or well out of the statistical margin of error. In addition, his disapproval was at 40%, or 9% lower than Rasmussen's 49.

Rasmussen, which polls likely voters, and not just all adults, has been the most accurate. They placed the approval at 50% earlier today. In addition, a recent Zogby poll had Obama at 42%-- 14% lower than CNN.

Also, in a poll taken from September 11-13, there is a noticable absence of questions relating to the day or the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Perhaps a few of these questions would remind citizens what a subpar job the President's Administration is doing at protecting this country.

In the future, just check out Rasmussen-- they're most accurate and the founder is on Fox a lot.

Obama so popular? Not really.

Rasmussen polls are the most accurate in nearly every survey I see them release, but today I will be focusing on Gallup.

Gallup reports Obama has a 56% approval rating among Americans, although they attempt to portray him as popular. However, as Judith Kinghoffer displays at History News Network, Obama's approval ratings are actually below average for most of our past Presidents:

Obama - 56%
Bush #43 - 62%
Clinton - 55% (only President that does worse than Obama).
Bush #41 - 58%
Reagan - 67%
Carter - 63%
Ford - no numbers, he was never elected.
Nixon - 61%.

Hmm, interesting? May I also add, that all of these poll results are from past Gallup polls.

Could it be, that the media is covering for Obama at his every call? Yes, I believe that is the case.

At this rate, Obama will be as unpopular as Bush by July 4th

According to Rasmussen reports (the only polling company that anyone should trust, because they are very accurate on most issues and polling data), Barack Obama now only has an approval rating of 55%, while he has an disapproval rating of 43%, these are higher levels of disapproval, and lower levels of approval then any other President has seen this early into an administration. The poll also found, regardless of what Democrats think, an overwhelming majority of Americans support tough immigration laws, and to weed out illegals.

At this rate of decline, Obama could have or be below George Bush's approval numbers by July 4th of this year.
Recall election anybody?

Also according to a poll on http://www.aol.com/ , which is a heavy favorite by liberals so any poll takes a while to balance out with Conservatives,
if the 2012 Presidential election was today, with Obama as the Democrat nominee, and Sarah Palin as the Republican nominee :
46% would vote for Obama
41% would vote for Palin
13% would vote for neither.
About 334,000 have voted in this poll, with Obama only having a 14,000 advantage.

So it looks like Sarah Palin 2012 has a good following, Obamas wheels are falling off, and if this poll had an equal percentage of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, I am quite sure it would be dead tied.

Republicans Catching Up?

The weeks after the inauguration of President Obama, the media has made a lot of the fighbting between the Republican factions. This could be highlighted by the fracas between new RNC Chairman Michael Steele and Rush Limbaugh. There are also other elements of inter-partisan warfare, with the Democrats gloating.

With the mandate that the President received on November 4th, as well as the fighting within the opposition, then the Democrats should be far and away from the Republican field for 2010. Yet, at least according to one poll, they're behind! How did this happen?

Now, this is not to say that the American people have all of a sudden moved over to the right again. Nor is it saying that we'll feel this way in a year and a half. Instead, it shows that we are suspicious of all of the projects, and the psychological effects that they are having on the stock market.

We're getting tired of the bailouts and the stimuli, and just waiting for them to work. We've spend almost $2 trillion on these in the last two years, without much to show about it. Undoubtedly they will stimulate the economy, but will they do so anywhere near the price tag? Or will it cause rampant inflation.

America also sees that we're not giving enough focus to energy. Not enough money is going to alternative fuels, and oil drilling has been curtailed. There's an uneasy feeling that gas prices may head up again.

So is this a crisis for the White House? No. But it should be a warning.

81% of Americans are against unions.

According to a recent poll done by Rasmussen, an astounding 81% of Americans, not unionized, are against unions, only 9% are for unions. In a case where the worker is facing layoff, still only 16% are for unions! This is great news for business and capitalist alike (including myself), but this is horrible news to Obama, Democrats in Congress, and union groups.

I really don't care if they are unhappy by this news.

It does explain why the Democrats and Unions are pushing card check through Congress, a piece of legislation that would get rid of the secret ballot in voting on a union, no more secret ballot when voting on unionization, instead you just sign a card, and your vote counts...this will also allow for unions to bully workers into signing up for Unions. That is just the democrati spirit of the democrat party folks, once again proving to be complete idiots.

I stand against card check, and I stand with the 81% of Americans who are anti-union, pro-business.
