Shocking: Supporters of Ground Zero Mosque to Protest on September 11th

This is a slap in the face. The supporters of the Ground Zero Mosque are planning something that is insulting to everyone who suffered in the September 11th atrocities. In a crass move, a protest is planned on the ninth anniversary of the murders even as the site's Twitter feed asks for contributions:
The Cordoba Initiative needs your help!!! Please donate on our website and help support our programs that focus on [peace, tolerance, and understanding!]
The protests come as those against the project will also be speaking out:
Muslim and Arab-American groups will meet later this week to discuss how to mark the anniversary, which could coincide with the Muslim holiday marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr.

"We're not going to do (a rally) across the street. That's not the approach that we're doing," said Linda Sarsour, the director of the Arab American Association of New York.

She said the coalition is considering a large community service project, interfaith dinner and other events to promote understanding.

This Sunday, groups for and against the centre are also planning marches in downtown Manhattan.
This is a seriously bad idea to have a protest on that day in lower Manhattan, even with a cultural dinner and other related ideas. The march will also serve to marginalize the moderate Islamic community, seeming like the mosque is being forced upon us on September 11th, of all days.

President Obama Sides With Ground Zero mosque.

President Barack Obama announced his support for the Ground Zero mosque yesterday evening during a White House event observing Ramadan. This comes just after a Fox News poll was released yesterday that found 64% of American voters think building a mosque near Ground Zero is just wrong.

Can anyone say tone deaf?

Not only is President Obama siding against an overwhelming majority of American voters on this subject (a subject bound to be heard from again in 2012), but he is also standing against the 9/11 victims and their families, and with the religion that caused 3,000 innocents to lose their lives on the worst attack against America since Pearl Harbor.

I don't know about you, but this Administration just keeps getting worse and worse and worse. I cannot believe that Obama would stand against 64% of the public because of "religious freedom" or religion at all. His stand is based on his radical ideology of appeasement and surrender, I have and you have seen this time and time again, but I don't think anyone ever expected it to reach such a level of pure insanity.

This mosque has nothing to do with religion, but with recognition.

Recognition of Islamic superiority over the West.

That's what Obama has signed up for; what our Soldiers signed up against.

Obama's Dumbest Moment by Far

I try not to be too much of a cynic. Even with President Obama, you have to try and give every person at least the tiniest benefit of the doubt. However, in the last 24 hours he has said perhaps the dumbest, most idiotic things of his short political career. And I know-- that's saying a lot.

Obama has come out in support of the Ground Zero mosque idea, despite many of the victims of the September 11th, 2001 atrocities families being against the plan. Apparently he has moved to the left of even Governor Paterson, who tried to move the mosque away from the sacred ground.

"We must all recognise and respect the sensitivities surrounding the development of lower Manhattan, Ground Zero is, indeed, hallowed ground. But let me be clear, as a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.

"That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community centre on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country, and will not be treated differently by their government, is essential to who we are."

Apparently it's all the rage for the Left to defend the mosque. But God forbid a cross going up on or near public property. Or forbid a cultural center that isn't politically correct. Let's hope they're not building a church or a war memorial near the school, or it might offend someone.

President Obama's said some really stupid things in the last several years. However, this is a direct slap in the face to survivors of the horrific tragedy and furthermore show how far we have come as a country in those nine years. So far that even our own President and Mayor of New York can forget the lessons and pain of that terrible day.

Muslims in Indonesia Have been Praying in the Wrong Direction

Apparently, according to the highest Islamic council in Indonesia, the Muslims of that nation have been praying in the wrong direction. Several months ago, they issued a fatwa calling on Muslims to pray facing West, toward what they believed was the Kaaba in Mecca.

Instead they ordered their followers to pray towards Africa, leading to a change in the policy, calling on Muslims in Indonesia to pray to the north-west.

But it seems to be okay:

Amin said the new edict does not mean that mosques in the country will need to be torn down. "They (those praying inside) just need to adjust their praying direction slightly," he said.

Some residents of the world's most populous Muslim country took the change in stride.
"I don't really worry about the praying direction," said Riza Irwansyah, an office worker in Jakarta. "The important thing is I prayed to Allah and I believe He will listen, no matter which way I'm facing."

Ground Zero Mosque Being Built with Ulterior Motive

As you know by now, there is a proposal to build a Mosque just two blocks away from the ruins of Ground Zero.  While the majority of Muslims are not radical, the Twin Towers and three thousand men, women, and children were murdered in the name of Islam.  Is a Mosque, by itself, offensive to the memories of the fallen?  Perhaps, but I believe, through simple common sense, that the Manhattan Islamic house of worship is being proposed with an ulterior motive.

Let me begin this with statement: I do not believe those in favor of the Mosque are in favor of terrorism, per se.  Are they proposing the Mosque to laud 9/11 over New Yorkers?  I doubt that as well.  However, there seems to be fishy things going on underneath the surface.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man who is the driving force behind the Mosque, has an odd/shady background, which Hot Air reported on here.  Mr. Rauf is associated with Mahathir Mohamad, an outspoken 9/11 truther and anti-Semite.  Mahathir Mohamad said, quote, "There is strong evidence that the attacks were staged. If they can make Avatar, they can make anything."  With these connections to the Mosque, it is understandable to be weary of such a project.
Imam Rauf in front of proposed Mosque
Now, play along with me so I can make a point.  Suppose a friend of yours just lost his job and got a divorce, okay?  The thing is, his boss took his wife and then fired him.  Got it?  So let's say you are trying to cheer him up... say you decide throw him a party.  The thing is, you intended to invite your boss to the gathering.  Your pal is upset, though, because your boss reminds him of the boss that canned him and took his sweetheart.  Now, you know that not all bosses are evil, but are you really going to force your friend to interact with your boss, even though you know that it will really bother him?  Of course you wouldn't.

And that's the thing.  Not all Muslims are bad people, but if the families of the victims of 9/11 don't want a Mosque two blocks away from Ground Zero, who can blame them?  If you are throwing a party for your friend to cheer him up, why force him to deal with your boss?  If you are building a Mosque to worship God, why build it near Ground Zero?  The fact that Imam Rauf and his followers are trying to force this Mosque, utterly disregarding the feelings of the victims' families, screams that there is an ulterior motive here.
Furthermore, there has been absolutely no explanation as to why this Mosque must be built here, so close to Ground Zero.  Why can't it be ten blocks away, or twenty?  Is a location so close to the ruins the only place in Manhattan where they can build it?  Surely Mr. Rauf knew of the uproar it would cause.

These things, the force and disregard for feelings, the lack of explanation, and so forth, tell me that there is an ulterior motive behind this Mosque.  What it is, I am not sure.

The Pentagon is disinviting Franklin Graham.

It is being reported that the Pentagon has disinvited Evangelist Franklin Graham from a previously scheduled event during the National Day of Prayer, because one organization complained about some of Graham's past comments, who is the son of famed Evangelist and spiritual adviser to several Presidents, Billy Graham.

What could Graham have possibly said to warrant his removal? He legitimately criticized the religion of Islam after the September eleventh attacks as an "evil religion" and he also has expressed concerns about the foul treatment of Muslim women in strict Islamic dominated Nations.

I'm confused. A Christian Minister is being targeted for opposing his 1,000 year religious enemy that is Islam and for specific comments this Minister made in the direct aftermath of September eleventh, when anti-Islamic feelings were understandably heated in America.

Political correctness has struck again! America is now punishing a Christian Minister for publicly questioning and opposing the religion of Islam and its' radical elements after the September eleventh attacks, of which 3,000 American citizens dead at the hand of radical Islam.

As a Christian, as an American and as someone who questions the radical elements of Islam (all elements to be honest, considering it's my spiritual foe), I'm offended by the Pentagon's decision and disgraced. What has happened to this Nation? Acceptable opposition to different religions and understanding proper context apparently are lost arts.

On a political note: I have doubted that the Evangelical vote would remain at 30% for Barack Obama in 2012, considering the Democratic average for a Presidential candidate is 23% and Evangelicals should be in fierce opposition to the socially liberal agenda of the Administration.

After this disaster with Franklin Graham, the son of a well respected Evangelical Evangelist, I wouldn't even expect Obama to receive 20% of the Evangelical vote in 2012. I could be wrong, but we'll see in 31 months.

Interview: RelgionofPeace.com

Jumping in Pools is proud to present its 25th installment in our interview series, which includes former Bush speechwriter Troy Senik. This interview is with Glen, the editor of the Religion of Peace, a site meant to expose the jihadist agenda.

1. Osama bin Laden and many leaders of militant Islam have stated that their goal is to create a global caliphate. However, many in the American and Western world ignore this. Why do you think that people still don't recognize these plans?

People in the West have been trained by the media and political leaders to ignore the religious motives of Islamic terrorists and focus merely on the threat posed to security. Many Muslims do not want to believe the worst about their own religion, and those in positions of influence are happy to abet in the cover-up – either because they genuinely believe that innocent Muslims will be victimized if the truth about Islam is known, or because they recognize an opportunity to associate terrorism with the cost of disregarding policies that are remarkably consistent with their own anti-Western (or anti-Israel) agenda.

The belief that Islam has nothing to do with Islamic terrorism may be silly, but, for many, it is certainly preferable to the idea that millions of their fellow citizens harbor an ideology that makes them potential terrorists. It is more comfortable to think of Islam as just another religion, the rough edges of which can simply be smoothed out over time by the liberal values of tolerance and generosity.

2. Which terrorist organization do you believe has the most potential to damage US interests?

I guess it depends on how “interests” is defined. I believe that al-Qaeda represents the greatest immediate threat to our economy, since that is the ambition to which they are devoting their substantial resources. For example, they are now developing a technique in which explosives are literally hidden within a bomber’s body, which could make it impossible to stop suicide attacks on certain public venues.

The greatest threat to Western civilization, however, doesn’t come from the terrorists, but rather from the tens of millions of Muslim immigrants (and successive generations) who are using our laws and tolerance against us to achieve social change that slowly erodes our children’s future with each concession.

This is not to say that every Muslim is evil or even aware of this demographic battle, of course, but if we want to preserve our liberty and values, then we should not be importing a religion that is so blatantly opposed to what we hold dear.

3. Which nation (except Israel) do you foresee becoming a major leader against terrorism?

I’ve never been accused of being an optimist, so you’ll understand that I don’t hold out much hope for any particular Muslim nation to exhibit great leadership in the struggle against global terrorism. As the example of (formerly Christian) Lebanon in our lifetime so plainly illustrates, tolerance for Islamic terror is proportionate to Muslim influence.

Non-Muslim countries that are battling violent Islamist insurgencies are India, Russia, Thailand and the Philippines. China would be facing a problem as well if not for the fact that it is so effectively suppressing the discontent of its Muslim minority by completely disregarding human rights. For its part, Europe seems to have decided to go out with a whimper.

4. Could you foresee Russia allying itself with Islamist forces? (despite Chechyna, of course)

Russia has been playing a dangerous game with Islam, particularly in regard to its cozy relationship with Iran. There has also been a great deal of pandering to the leaders and people of other Muslim countries, as well as to Muslims within its own borders – which make up a rapidly expanding minority.

Since our former foe is acting in its own economic and political interests with no regard for long-term consequences, it’s difficult to say where or when the line may be drawn.

5. How likely is it that Iran will acquire a nuclear warhead?

Just as Pakistan developed nuclear weapons capability, so will Iran. I don’t think Israel alone can prevent this from happening, and there simply isn’t enough willpower on the part of others, including the Obama administration. In fact, the “negotiations” that are getting underway between the U.S. and Iran should provide the mullahs with just enough time to complete their project.

6. Which nations in the Islamic world appear at least somewhat likely to suffer an Islamist takeover?

Well, I think we can pretty much stick a fork in Somalia. And it is only the presence of foreign troops in Afghanistan that keeps the Taliban from regaining power there as well. For its part, Pakistan may not be run by clerics, technically speaking, but the concessions made to Islamists over the past several years by the military and government are barely distinguishable from outright capitulation.

Other than that, the Islamists are held in check largely by the ruthlessness of Muslim governments. The world turns a blind eye to human rights violations in countries like Egypt, for example, because it is known that the consequences of imposing such standards – as was done with the Shah of Iran – are much worse. In the case of Iran, the mullahs quickly installed a far more brutal regime that began with executing the very human rights activists who catapulted them to power in the first place.

Standing for Israel, Standing Against Radical Islam. UPDATED.

Lets face it, the only nation in the entire world that 100% supports Israel, other than Israel of course, is the United States of America. Very shocking indeed; better yet lets ask this question - how many other nations are opposed to radical Islam, and Islam taking over their nation and enforcing Islamic laws, or 'Sharia,' which are barbaric at the least.

I really cannot think of many of them either...I know in a few nations there are some brave souls who have stood up against radical Islam, such as France with their first ever pro-American President, and Geert Wilders of the Netherlands.

A man who has been fighting against radical Islam, and even Islam in general for the past several years, he sees the dangers involved with the radical Islamic beliefs. Wilders is best known for his movie, which he created about Islam in the Netherlands, Fitna, about how radical terrorists are using lines from the Qur'an to justify their evil terrorist acts, and wanting to spread Islam all through out the world.

While the movie has been showcased on American shows such as Glenn Beck, the movie has been attacked viciously across Europe, and has led to Geert Wilders being banned from England because of his views (just like Michael Savage).

Wilders has also noted how Israel is the first line of defense against radical Islam for the western world. Not only that, but because of major differences between himself and his original party, Wilders has formed his own political party, which is the most popular in the Netherlands. Wilders personal principles also closely reflects those in American Conservative circles.

How about the Nation of Sweden? Are they pro-Israel? I highly doubt it, especially since their nation has been overrun in the past years by Islam, and has become a hot spot for anti-Israeli views. Just think about the article, written in a radical left leaning newspaper, "Our sons are used as involuntary organ donors, relatives of Khaled from Nablus said to me, as did the mother of Raed from Jenin as well as the uncles of Machmod and Nafes from Gaza, who all had disappeared for a few days and returned by night, dead and autopsied."

The Israeli foreign minister was pissed beyond belief, "Whispers in the dark. Anonymous sources. Rumors. That is all it takes. After all we all know what they [the Jews] are like, don't we: inhuman, hardened. Capable of anything," the opinion piece says. "Now all that remains is the defense, equally predictable: 'Anti-Semitism' No, no, just criticism of Israel."

The Foreign Ministry reacted angrily on Tuesday to the report. Ministry spokesperson Yigal Palmor said the newspaper's decision to publish the story is "a mark of disgrace" for the Swedish press. "

Lets face it America, we have few allies when it comes to supporting Israel, and even our own government is now anti-Israel on almost every issue. It appears we might have a few more allies when it comes to fighting against radical Islam, however......they are in the minority.

Please note : I am not anti-Muslim, I am anti-radical Islam, which the United States is currently fighting against in Afghanistan & Iraq, this has nothing to do with religion in general (I am not opposed because I am a Christian, I am opposed to radical Islamists who hate Christians, and the free world), all to do with a radical version of the Muslim religion which has become the enemy of America. If you do not understand what I just said, you are an ignorant fool who has forgotten September 11th attacks.

Updated : Amazing story on how a young girl might be killed, if Florida Governor Charlie Crist does not intervene to save this girl, from a "honor killing".

Albania Joins NATO

It's official. The most pro-American nation in Europe has joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Albania and Croatia have both joined in official alliance with the United States. After the savage attacks of September 11, 2001, Albania came swiftly to aid their American friends. They deployed troops to both Afghanistan and Iraq, and work to save innocent lives in Darfur. They are planning to stay in Iraq as long as we are and have recently upped their commitment.

Several years ago, the Muslim nation of Albania gave President Bush a loving welcome, bringing thanks, posters, and American flags to the streets of Tirana. Our friendship is close. Woodrow Wilson saved the small state from being carved up after World War One. President Clinton saved Kosovo from Serbian genocide. President Bush founded a strong relationship and was instrumental in the independence of Kosovo.

Welcome aboud, Albania. We look forward to years of partnership in the struggle against terrorism, dictatorship, and tyranny. We already know you're up to the task.

Islamists Make Presence Known in France

France, which in part opposed the war in Iraq due to its increasing Muslim population, is now facing further problems. Beyond all of those riots that happened a couple of years ago, that is.

“It’s good that the fighting has stopped, but that doesn’t mean we will forget,” said Enis Chabchoub, 29, a computer trainer who was watching the news with his parents, siblings and sister-in-law. “This war will be remembered, and not only in Gaza.”

In France, which is home to the largest Jewish and the largest Muslim communities in Western Europe, the conflict between Hamas and Israel has deeply inflamed passions over the past three weeks. The emotions, strongly expressed in demonstrations that drew tens of thousands of people to the streets, were one factor driving diplomatic efforts by French leaders, including President Nicolas Sarkozy, to achieve a lasting cease-fire.

Jailed for Making Anti-Islam Film

Geert Wilders, who is a fascist leader in the Netherlands, will be charged for making statements against a religion. While Wilders is characterized by many as just a right-wing politician, his policies of division and strong-armed tactics are either fascist or near-fascist. He should not hold any national office and should be ashamed of many of his policies.

However, this does not mean that he should be in jail or charged for making statements in a free society. In fact, this is one of the statements made by the court:

"The court also considers appropriate criminal prosecution for insulting Muslim worshippers because of comparisons between Islam and Nazism made by Wilders," it added.

What? So many Americans and Europeans were saying, without knowing what it meant, that President Bush was a Nazi. Now all of a sudden it's a crime to compare something with Nazism.

Islam is not Nazism. Islam is not fascism. Islam is the third Abrahamic religion and worship the same God that most people in this country do. However, the fanatics that use and manipulate Islam are fascists and unfortunately, it bred fascists in Europe.
