Although the Onion is known far and wide as a modern satiracal peice of print, it should well be known as America's most trusty news source.
Look at the headlines that have run in recent weeks: "Old, Grizzled Third-Party Candidate May Steal Support From McCain," "Domino's Scientists Test Limits Of What Humans Will Eat," and "In The Know: Situation In Nigeria Seems Pretty Complex." Tell me true, which of these are false?
The Onion is reliable enough to continue, at least, to try to make false, humorous headlines intentionally. How many papers can truly say that when they make a mistake it was intentional? Few if any. The Onion has the guts to be wrong, and puts its neck out for the American people.
