Go Navy Midshipmen!

Are you ready for some Midshipmen football?

After last year's fine season, which included a Victory in the Texas Bowl over Missouri, the Navy Midshipmen will begin their 2010 campaign against intrastate rivals of 105 years today: the Maryland Terrapins. In what has become known as the "Crab Bowl Classic", these two teams have not played each other since 2005, when Maryland defeated Navy 23-20.

Of course, I'm more than ready to see Coach Ken Niumatalolo lead the Navy football program to another successful season, but the spirit of rooting for Navy is all about the players, who unlike a certain college football program, have honor and integrity in all faucets of their life.

The Navy game will be broadcast on ESPN at 4 o'clock, Eastern Time.

I remember some joke circulating about how the West Point cadets managed to steal the Navy's mascot before the big Army/Navy game..

How did the Mishipmen know? Because whoever took it used wirecutters when the gate was unlocked.

So apparently they like to brag or joke about the clueless West Point cadets and how the dimwits successfully stole their mascot
