2012 GOP primary season to be full. Need to be United.

I predict that the 2012 Republican primary season will be full of all sorts of twists & turns. How do I know this? We already have several candidates with ground swelling support from big chunks of the Republican party, you literally have grassroots launching Presidential PAC'S against the wishes of the candidate who they want to run, and we have many polls proving the primary season is going to be very interesting indeed.

As of now, we have a long list of potential Presidential candidates for the Republican nomination :

Governors - Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Mark Sanford, Haley Barbour, John Huntsman Jr., Mike Huckabee, Rick Perry, Charlie Crist, Tim Pawlenty, Mitt Romney, Mitch Daniels.

Senators - Jim DeMint, John Ensign, Bob Corker, John Thune, Jon Kyle, Kay Bailey Hutchison (I rather doubt this, considering she is planning a run for Governor of Texas).

Congressman - Newt Gingrich, Eric Cantor, Ron Paul.

Many of the above probably will not run, however they still have support from various blocs of the Republican Party to run for President, we have a combined 11 Governors, 6 Senators, and 3 Congressman (one retired) that could possibly be running for the Nomination in 2012.

This will cause more trouble then not.

The Conservative base, actually the Republicans altogether need to stand for the most Conservative candidate that can find, we cannot be divided like in the 2008 primary season - when National Security Conservatives went for McCain, Social Conservatives went for Huckabee, and Fiscal Conservatives went for Romney - we need to be united for this upcoming primary season, not divided yet again.

We might want to take a lesson from the Democrats on this, they single out one or two of the most liberal idiots they can find, and they go on from there, Conservatives splinter between five different candidates and we end up with a moderate like John McCain, who was dead in the water to Governor Palin came along to save the day, well if that pesky little economic bubble did not pop.....

I suggest over the next several months/perhaps years, that Conservatives & Republicans alike at the grassroots level, look at all of the potential candidates, and candidates that will emerge over the next two years into the race, and try to find those one or two real Conservative Americans to be behind for the primary season - because if we have another 2008 primary season, we are dead in the water, just like McCain was - and this time Palin cannot save us.
