Legal gay marriage is spreading amongst the 50 states, which will hopefully lead to a federal allowance for the practice. Now in Vermont and Iowa, along with Massachusetts and Connecticut, gay marriage is finally legal.
In 2000, Vermont initiated civil unions in the United States. Three years later, Massachusetts sanctioned gay marriage, as did Connecticut last October. So the events in Iowa and Vermont were bricks laid upon an already tested foundation.
It's about time. Hopefully Congress or the Supreme Court will allow the practice nationwide.

Homosexual marriage should be banned in all 50 states by a Constitutional amendment. It is immorale, wrong, and should not be allowed in any Nation that calls itself a Christian nation - such as we the United States of America are.
