The burning question.

If I had a million dollars just laying around, waiting to be spent for the good of the Nation, I would conduct the largest survey in American history. I would literally attempt to interview over 500,000 Americans, and I would ask them one question ; "Why are you proud to be an American?".

There are so many reasons why.

Because of the Freedom of being an American, the Freedom to succeed or fail in economics, the Freedom to own a gun to protect yourself, the Freedom of speech, religion, to petition, to assembly, the Freedom to have a trial before a jury of peers, the Freedom to make your own key choices - what healthcare package should I have, what type of Car should I drive, do I want to buy an American product or a product from a trading partner?

Or is it because America is a land of laws, laws that have the act of murder as a serious crime, and should be no-matter how old or young the victim is, that we do not tolerate those that break our laws, that we hold morals to a high esteem when making laws - including that marriage be between one man & a woman.

Is it because of our Military? Which has fought for Freedom more times then one could count, because we have the greatest soldiers on earth, because of our great alliances with Israel, Great Britain, and another Western Nations as well.

These are questions I want to ask all Americans, I am proud to be an American because of our Republic, because of our Founders, because of our Freedoms, because of our respect for life, except for those that have violated that respect, our belief in traditional marriage, our belief in the Freedom of economics - of Capitalism, to have the chance/right to either succeed or fail on your on conditions, but because you have that chance/right - you will always succeed in one way, and that way - is in atleast having that Freedom.
