Leave the Military alone.

It is bad enough when the government is attempting to regulate private industry such as tobacco companies out of existence, control whether or not people smoke or not, and tax the hell out of American citizens while claiming they want them to quit. The federal government has taken un-Constitutional steps of having the authority to take over the private sector business of tobacco, which has been apart of American business since this Nation was founded.

That is all bad enough.

Now, the liberal Obama Pentagon wants to ban all Military personal from being able to smoke. What the hell is wrong with these idiots? Those that fight for our Freedom every day overseas, on the border, or anywhere else in the world they just happen to be - won't be allowed to smoke a tobacco product? Then why the hell are they fighting for Freedom? The supposed reason is for later in life when they will develop lung cancer, or some dreadful disease - howabout the last several decades when fellow soldiers smoked and later got sick, I have never heard about the VA benefits going bankrupt because of TOBACCO USE!

This is just another slap in the face of the Military. First, they wanted to take away the health benefits of those that our fighting for America's freedom. Second, they wanted to release photos that would put their lives & their hard fought victories in Iraq in severe risk. Now, they want to take away a soldiers freedom to smoke a tobacco product.

Where will it end? When will the encroachment into private industry end? When will the assault on the Military end? When will the government control over the American citizen end? I have no idea, I am all for Tobacco Capitalism, risk & reward, and I am all for the government keeping its damn nose out of the tobacco industry, every other industry, and our Americans lives - Military & non-Military.
