Governor Paterson of New York, who I personally like, has made a poor choice of the next Senator from our state. Instead of choosing Attorney General Andrew Cuomo or Assemblyman Pete Lopez, he chose Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand.
Reason why she was chosen : She is from Upstate. She is a woman. She is a Democrat. She sucks on all issues except the Second Amendment and some Fiscal Conservative policies.
Assemblyman Lopez or even Senator Seward would be great candidates for the job.
