Governor Palin to step down in late July 2009.

Governor Sarah Palin announced what many of us in the Conservative community expected, that she would not seek a second term as Governor of Alaska, however we did receive the shock of a lifetime - Governor Palin will be resigning as Governor in late July, so the Lt.Governor Parnell can takeover full time, and so the state does not have an un-iterested lameduck Governor at the helm.

I believe what Governor Palin has said, as she is accurate when she triumphed that all of her major goals on the Governor campaign in 2006 have been accomplished. She is not leaving because of pressure, or because she is leaving the citizens of Alaska high & dry (not possible since the state has an Lt. Governor in the first place), however it is because she does not want to be a lameduck Governor in the way of Alaska.

What does this mean for the 2012 Presidential election? For the 2010 United States Senate election in Alaska? For the bright future of Governor Palin in summary?

I do not believe she will run for the Senate seat in Alaska, I do not believe she is done when it comes to elections, her political career, and the future of holding public office.

This is the first step towards the Presidential run of Governor Palin in 2012, this actually shows strength to me - she is getting out of the way, she is allowing the state to move forward - when staying on, would just divert real issues. Governor Palin has once again highlighted brilliance in her speaking abilities, the media is once again highlighting the dreadful liberal bias that exists, and I am preparing to join the Palin 2012 campaign.

Shocking? Without a doubt?
The end of her political career? Not a doubt, this is just the beginning.

Palin 2012!

Once again, we saw a Statesmen talk from the heart, not a politician from the teleprompter.
