The April 15th tea party movement was a success, with anywhere from 300,000 to over half a'million Americans protesting the large spending, taxes, a shift away from Capitalism, the ever growing federal government, support for states rights, about the ever growing National debt, etc. etc.
It was a great feeling.
That great feeling is back, as Americans are once again out on the protest, on Independence day, a day which led to the right to peacefully assemble, petition the government, and to have the right to speak one's opinion.
Attendance is my main interest, so here come the reports :
5,000+ in Houston, Texas (yesterday).
3,000 + in Perrsburgh, Ohio.
2,000+ in Kansas city, Missouri.
1,000+ in Hernando, Mississippi.
1,500 in Washington, Missouri.
200 in Syracuse, New York.
400 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
1,000 in Frankfort, Kentucky.
As of now - Over 14,000 attendees at 8 tea party events, and considering over 1,200 have been scheduled it should be another big day for fiscal Conservatism.

A success? Seriously? Stupidity since Obamas approval ratings went up after the last tea bagging and the numbers dwindled in this one since what he's doing seems to be working. If you research history it shows there mistakes in the first great depression and the only problem so far has been the stimulus hasn't been spent fast enough because of republicans putting a block on it, even though it seems to be working! Really you call this many people a success when there's more people stuck on the bridge each morning than showing up at these things. Hell, now people are saying Jimmy friggen Carter was right all along!! A success did not happen July 4th, failure yet again is all it was. Pathetic, just goes to show that real conservatives have been replaced by you fakes claiming to be something you're not just because you're mad there's a black president who cares about working WITH others instead of against them, who cares about people and not lobbyists. Let me guess, the people who call this a success are the same that think our health care is #1 (37th ranked and only leads in cost and deaths allowed each year, or the fact we're the ONLY wealthy country without nationalized health care); or you're the idiots who think we're a christian nation when we were built on religious freedom and the founding fathers were not even religious. Wait, Fox News is on now - talking still about Sara Palin and no Tea Party coverage. Hm, Sara "my husband belongs to an anti-American group" Palin stole the thunder.

1. In regards to the stimulus - the Republicans cannot put a block on it, we don't even have enough votes to stop it - plus three turncoats gave the Democrats a majority, 60% of the stimulus will not be spent until 2010 & beyond. The stimulus is a joke, it does nothing to stimulate the economy, it did not work with FDR, and it did not work under Carter, and it will not work with Obama - all it does is raise debt.
2. I am as real of a Conservative as you can get, we care about people, thats why we are against raised taxes, all of this debt, and the government taking over everything! Obviously you have never read the Constitution or Declaration of Independence. This has nothing to do with a black President, and I would stick to my principles..instead of "getting along".
3. In terms of care, we are the best in the world. You cannot beat the care in this Nation, you get to see a doctor, your treatment is not rationed, and guess what - you & your doctor control your treatment, not some federal government = freedom. Not to mention sir, that nationalized healthcare is against the Constitution of the United States, plus all it does - is bankrupt Nations. You wonder why Nations are running away from it, and our friends from Canada have been running into America for treatment, you jackass.
4. You are kidding me right? We are a Christian Nation, set up with religious freedom, with CHRISTIAN FOUNDERS! Anyone who does not believe that, is a damn liberal.
Well it was real nice setting the record straight.
OH..........Hundreds of thousands of Americans standing against massive debts, big government, etc. - is a worthy cause for all Conservatives my friend.
