The JiP List of the Top 5 Conservative Blogs

My fellow contributor Tim K. wrote me with an excellent idea. We're going to post the official list of our top five conservative blogs which appear on the internets.

1. Hot Air-- Written with the conservative tagteam of Ed Morrissey, Michelle Malkin, and Allahpundit, it offers not only an interesting take on the items of the day, but also interesting links and news.

2. The Blogmocracy-- Formerly known as LGF 2.0, it is a dynamic blog which includes its readers and commenters in a respectful fashion.

3. Iowahawk-- An often hilarious take on the world from a conservative perspective, the satirical site is one of the best sites on the net, period. To boot, David Burge is a nice guy who knows how to make people laugh.

4. Innominatus-- Talking about satire, Innominatus is one of the foremost blogs containing conservative satire. It is like Iowahawk, but also original and thoughtful-- and one of my favorite sites to visit.

5. World Threats. Not exactly a conservative blog, but a geopolitical analysis site. I've been visiting since high school and have the honor of posting articles there. Its founder, Ryan Mauro, is a 23-year old analyst who is one of the best on the web.

Honorable mentions:

The Other McCain
Pirate's Cove
The Life and Times
Stix Blog
The Powers that Be
Instapundit
The Urban Grind
