Assemblywoman Scozzafava represents the 122nd Assembly district, a district that has near 11,000 more Republicans then Democrats, and Republicans make up near 45% of all voters in the district. During the last contested election Scozzafava faced in 2006, she won by a two-to-one margin.

I would like to encourage all Republicans who are present in the 122nd Assembly district, which includes all of Lewis County, along with parts of Oswego County, Jefferson County, and St.Lawrence County to consider a primary challenge against Scozzafava, to give the residents of the 122nd Assembly district a real Republican representative.
Scozzafava cannot be allowed to make a mockery of the Republican party in the New York State Assembly, we need representatives who will stand against the Democratic party, who will stand for traditional values, and will actually represent the party.
