Huckadakakis - Presidential ambitions continue downward spiral.

The Republican Dukakis - Presidential hopeful and former Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee was once a rising star amongst Conservatives, Republicans, and Americans. Well, after the murder of four police officers resulted from releasing a felon who had decades left on his sentence, a felon Mike Huckabee commuted several years ago, his Presidential ambitions have been flushed down the toilet.

Once a opinion, is now a proven fact.

Rasmussen Reports has just released a poll in regards to elected officials reducing the sentence of felons, from the great state of Arkansas. Please be warned, this poll is the beginning of the end of Mike Huckabee's political future, if it was not over already. According to the poll, 70% of Arkansas voters believe elected officials should not have the power to reduce the sentence of felons, just 13% believe elected officials should have that power.

Just 53% of voters in the state of Arkansas voted for Huckabee during his 2002 Gubernatorial re-election bid, over 60% of Republicans voted for Huckabee during the Republican primary, and the eventual Republican nominee, John McCain won Arkansas with near 59% of the vote last year. With all of the above in mind, 70% of voters in Arkansas oppose elected officials with the power to reduce the sentences of felons, meaning 70% oppose the action Huckabee took.

If the results are this bad in Arkansas, the state Huckabee led for several years, what will the electorate as a whole think? The Presidential and political ambitions of Mike Huckabee, are officially over.

In a just world, evolution would be irrelevant to politics. All the schools and the research funding would be 100% privatized.
