Well, looks like Sesame Street is turning 40 today.

'Sesame Street' has made an impact on all most all of us, the show has been educating children in more than 120 countries for generations. Big Bird and the crew on 'Sesame Street' are about to embark on their 40th season on November 10. To celebrate this momentous event you can watch TV all week long, don't forget to throw on your new American Apparel t-shirt!
In honor of the start of the 40th season a few Muppets are making the late night rounds. Tonight you can catch Big Bird on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' He will be rubbing elbows with Jimmy and fellow guests Joshua Jackson and Slayer. 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' airs on ABC at 12:06am.
Next Monday stay up late with Elmo and Rosita. The two will be making a stop by 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.' The three have shared the stage before, Elmo appeared on Late Night last April and Fallon is a guest on the upcoming 40th season of Sesame Street. Late Night airs on NBC at 12:35am.
If you want to pay tribute by watching the original, locally PBS airs 'Sesame Street' daily at 10am.
You can now sport your support of 'Sesame Street' with a limited edition 'Sesame' t-shirt from American Apparel.
