Mr. K-Obama clock? Reminds me of the fantasies that I had of Bush leaving office. Just don't count your chickens before they hatch.
While I don't like the way that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia conducts himself off the bench, I have the most respect for his judicial decision making of the conservative wing of the court. While sometimes his orginialism (which tries to base decisions on framer's intent) can lead him into reactionary places (see his dissent in Lawrence v. Texas), he sometimes makes decisions that ire conservatives, like ruling that flag burning is a form of free speech (Texas v. Johnson) or Congress alone can suspend the right of habeas corpus to terror suspects who were American citizens (Hamdi v. Rumsfeld).
Please donate money to the victims of the Australian brushfires. Last Saturday, terrible brushfires swept Southern Australia, leaving about 200 people dead. It's a horrible tragedy and I hope people can pitch in. The link to donate is included below.
