Stimulus passes Congress, Republicans stand united.

Besides the fact this "spending" package will not fix anything, does not target the needed areas, will only expand government, no-one has had the time to read this massive bill to check for more pork or overnight measures shoved into the bill, it has passed in the United States House of Representatives. Luckily all voting Republicans we're united in their opposition to this bill, and a few brave Democrats joined us.

In the Senate, 38 Republicans have voted no, 3 cutthroats have betrayed America, Conservatism, and the Republican party, and one member gets back from his Mothers wake at 10:30, it will officially pass the United States Senate.

This was the wrong bill to be passed. And this will not fix anything.

I stand united yesterday, today, and tomorrow against this piece of anti-american,anti constitutional, anti-conservative piece of legislation.

I am not the hugest fan of the stimulus package, but how is it un-constitutional and un-American?

Will the stimulus bill compromise lower your tax rebate to $8 per week? That appears to be true. The final version has not been passed, but reports indicate the $500 per year in reduced tax withholding has been reduced to $400 per individual and $800 per couple. That only comes to $8 per week for an individual and $16 for a couple. If they start the payments in June and make it retroactive to the beginning of the year, you will get $13 per week until next January. Then, your rebate would drop to the $8 per week level. Are you felling stimulated yet? In a stimulus bill of almost $1 trillion dollars, you would think President Obama would have more for the working class.
