Over 200 attendees at local Tea Party.

The Tea Party movement is alive and well in Schoharie County, New York! When the local newspaper reported a group of local citizens would be holding a Tea Party meeting earlier this evening, I was unsure as to whether or not the event would take off like wildfire: Considering we're in a Conservative Republican dominated area, and both of our state representatives are Republicans who fight the good fight.

Well, over 200 people attended on just 36 hours notice! The meeting room was packed, dozens were standing in the back of the room and dozens more were listening in from outdoors! I could not believe the turnout, even in a Conservative area where close to 57% of voters supported our Republican nominee over Barack Obama, who received just 41% of the vote.

It was a great meeting! Both of our Republican representatives were present (Senator James Seward and Assemblyman Pete Lopez), candidates for state and federal legislature were in attendance and there were American and Gadsden Flags there. Local Republican officials were present, our local media was present and the Pledge of Allegiance recited by 200 individuals at once is downright awesome!

The Tea Party Movement is alive and well my friends, and I mean the real Tea Party movement. Please attend your local meetings and please visit the Tea Party of Schoharie County website at http://www.teapartyofsc.com/ This movement is real Main Stream Media, and our friends on the left should be afraid........very afraid.

If Republicans don't appeal to this movement: We'll have a real problem on our hands as a party and as a movement.

I wonder how many will turn up in Albany on Saturday the 17th at the Corning Preserve? It has been advertised for weeks, but the rain may keep some away.

If you live close enough... you should join us from HIGH NOON to 2 pm.
