Birthers Just Don't Get It

I don't think this has to be said, but this solidly Republican site is solidly anti-birther. If you want to make a birther argument, you better come armed and ready with a full-on Kenyan birth certificate coupled with a signed statement Barack Obama Sr. stating that this whole thing is a conspiracy 50 years in the making.

But the madness continues.

In Arizona, where Birther JD Hayworth is trying to knock off John McCain in the GOP Senate Primary, the Arizona House is trying to force President Obama to show his "birth certificate" in order to appear on the 2012 ballot there. The main problem is that he's already presented it and it's been legally accepted as authentic!

Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation."
Mesa Republican Rep. Cecil Ash said he has no reason to doubt Obama's citizenship but supports the measure because it could help end doubt.

This madness has to stop. The Democrats are just going to use things like this to make us all sound like wackos. As for people like Cecil Ash, you had better have a better reason than that to make your party look bad. Crap like birtherism is going to be used mercilessly by people in pop culture and the media to make us look like the Klan. Stop it or come up with some proof!
