To those who linked Jumping in Pools 3.

We had a good week this week, as numerous sites linked Jumping in Pools, and with appreciation we would like to ask our readers to visit those who have linked us.

Santa brought me Sarah Palin!

Two websites decided an exceptional review of Sarah Palin's just released best seller was good enough to warrant linkage, we appreciate www.netrightnation.com and www.barbaricthoughts.blogspot.com for their generosity.

Upcoming elections of importance.

Two additional websites, believed an article previewing the upcoming congressional elections and Republican chances in these elections, was good enough for additional linkage. We thank www.legalinsurrection.blogspot.com and www.reaganiterepublicanresistance.blogspot.com for their linkage to superior blogging.

The Scott Brown version of Hoffmania continues.

www.suffolk912.com liked and linked an old Jumping in Pools article on Scott Brown, the Conservative blogosphere, and the Conservative movement as a whole.

Ten months to November - stop the blame game!

Though, www.theothermccain.com , believed the opinion of this Conservative to be incorrect, we thank him for the linkage.

Dondero defends Stein, attacks Paul.

The segment quickly turned into a shouting match. Paul called the United States "occupiers," and blamed the US for Muslim attacks. Stein responded by calling Paul an "anti-Semite."

Paul also asserted that terrorist AbdulMutallab was motivated by American bombings of terrorist sites in Yemen two weeks ago. However, it's now being learned that AbdulMutallab and his handlers had planned the terrorist act, at least one month ago.

Since the spat with Stein, Paul has been receiving a great deal of praise and support from mostly 9/11 Truther blogs, Alex Jones sites, and of course, Lew Rockwell and AntiWar.com.

Read the full article, - http://libertarianrepublican.blogspot.com/2009/12/ben-stein-schools-ron-paul-on-foreign.html

I have long been a critic of Congressman Ron Paul, as his idiotic views on National defense are unbearable, and his labeling of all things disagreeable to him as "unconstitutional", is getting old real quick. Ron Paul is a pure embarrassment for Republicans across America, as he stands against our strongest portion in the Republican platform - a strong National defense.

Eric Dondero is not a fake Libertarian, and he has worked with Congressman Paul numerous times over the past two decades. While, I have disagreements with Eric Dondero, we agree on a few solid principles - Republicans are the best alternative to socialist democratic candidates, National defense is the most important aspect of the United States, and freedom.

Congressman Ron Paul is not a supporter of Republicans, Conservatism, our Founders principles, or even the United States Constitution for that matter. He believes in a weak United States, where our allies are dismantled, America is attacked without revenge or regard for preventing it, and our National defense is zero.

The fourteenth congressional district of Texas deserves proper representation from a solid Republican in a solid Republican district, which is the reason for this endorsement of Tim Graney's campaign for the Republican nomination. Tim Graney is a strong Republican, who believes in fiscal Conservatism, and a strong National defense.

Please visit his campaign site, www.graneyforcongress.com , and lend your support for this fine American, instead of the stick your head in the sand lunatic.

Ben Stein defended the United States as he has done for years, the comment about "Anti-Semite" was taking out of context, and Congressman Paul and President Obama are one of the same in regards to National defense, we can replace one next November with a real defender of America, please do so Texas.

Massachusetts Republican group raising funds for poll.

For weeks, I have been waiting for a polling firm to release data on the Massachusetts Senate race, well some folks are tired of waiting. The Red Mass Group is attempting to raise 10,000 dollars, in order to commission a poll asking the voters of Massachusetts about the upcoming Senate election, and to see where Brown's campaign stands as of now.

While, I cannot speak for Jumping in Pools as a whole, I support this effort one hundred percent, and I am prepared to donate $20.00 dollars to the effort.

This is also another sign of the times, the Conservative blogosphere is no longer content with waiting for others to poll the voters, we are now prepared to commission our own opinion polls, for the sake of knowing where we stand in Massachusetts, and I hope the blogosphere has a whole supports this effort, because silent rumors indicate that Brown is in the lead, but we have no official confirmation.

www.redmassgroup.com has more information on the proposed poll. I have also sent an email to the organization, asking for more information, and will update this post when more information is available to me.

Also, according to an email I just received from a political blogger in Massachusetts, a major political polling firm is releasing a poll next week, stay tuned, and the word from the blogger - Democrats are not fired up or not voting, and Republicans and Independents are fired up and prepared to visit the polls.

Also, a relative in Massachusetts who was not voting, has agreed to vote for Scott Brown, as long as I remind her. Let the Brown Brigade roll on strong!

A Year in Review: Obama's 2009

With the New Year coming tomorrow, 2009 is going out the door. With such, a review of our 44th President's first calendar year in office seems almost necessary. Here is a timeline of President Obama's 2009 in the White House. Was he as dismal as you remember? Or a savior?

January 20th- Barack Obama is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America.

January 22nd- The president signs an executive order that declares Guantanamo Bay will be closed within a year. This seems very unlikely to be completed.

February 3rd- Tom Daschle and Nancy Killefer both withdraw their nominations from Obama, both citing tax "issues."

February 17th- The president signs into law the American Recovery and Reinvestement Act of 2009, more widely known as the Stimulus Bill. The merits of the program are still being debated today.

March 5th- Sanjay Gupta is nominated to be Surgeon General. President Obama cites the fact that Gupta is "high-profiled" as part of his reasoning. Mr. Gupta eventually withdraws his nomination.

March 19th- President Obama compares his poor bowling skills untowardly to handicapped children in the Special Olympics. He later apologizes.

April 20th- Though his proposed budget exceeds 3.5 Trillion dollars, President Obama demands that his Cabinet cut .0027% of the budget, or 100 Million dollars. It is seen by many as a "drop in the bucket."

May 12th- Obama threatens to limit our intelligence sharing with our closest ally, Great Britain.

May 26th- Sonya Sotomayor is nominated to the Supreme Court. Debate abounds in the following weeks concerning Sotomayor's seemingly racist comments about "wise Latina" women being able to make better judgments than other people.

June 12th- Presidential elections are held in Iran. Clear, widespread, and unmistakable fraud takes place, resulting in the re-election of Mahmud Ahmadinejad and widespread demonstrations against his illegitimate victory. The President refuses to take a side.

July- Unemployment stands at 9.5%, 1.5% over the 8% that the President declared would be peak if his Stimulus Bill was passed. Unemployment would go on to break 10%.

July 22nd- President Obama declares that "the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting" Professor Henry Gates, though he also stated, "I may be a little biased here. I don't know all the facts." The comment comes to haunt Obama, and is only quelled when a "beer summit" is held between the two parties and the President.

July 30th- Beer Summit.

August 19th- On the same day 75 people were killed in terrorist attacks in Baghdad, the Administration gets ready to release members of an Iranian terror organization.

September 16th- President Obama begins his push for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Chicago by speaking at a youth sporting event. This culminates in the President traveling to Copenhagen for the vote. Chicago is eliminated in the first round of voting.

October 9th- The President is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Many question the merits of his selection.

November 3rd- Republican Chris Christie wins the New Jersey gubernatorial race over incumbent Democrat Jon Corzine, whom Obama stumped for. Republicans also win the Virginia gubernatorial race.

November 16th- The President deeply bows to the Emperor of Japan, marking the second time he bowed for a foreign leader.

December 1st- President Obama unveils a new strategy in Afghanistan, which sends more troops and sets a timeline. Republicans are unhappy because the President plans to send less troops than the generals wanted, while Democrats are unhappy because he is prolonging the war.

December 10th- President Obama accepts the Nobel Peace Prize, then insults the King of Norway by leaving the country early, ignoring traditional gatherings that winners are expected to attend.

December 31st- Present day. What will President Obama do next?

Sarah Palin fans don't read books?

Going Rogue - Sarah Palin.
Washington - James Flexner.
5,000 year leap - Cleon Skousen.
Common Sense - Glenn Beck.
Censorship - Brian Jennings.
Whatever it takes - Congressman Hayworth.

Those are just a few of the published works I have read this year, however, according to Joy Behar, Sarah Palin's base does not read books, we just look at the pictures in her new book. I am offended, as someone who believes in the power of the Individual, and that reading is one of the strongest powers the Individual can use, and a power most Palin fans achieve with success.

I received Going Rogue as a Christmas present, after eight hours, four hundred pages, numerous licks to the fingertips, I completed one of the greatest books I have ever read. Sarah Palin is the average American, from shooting hoops as a kid, hunting with her father, and stopping for diapers while campaigning for Vice-President of the United States.

We understand this. Conservatives and Sarah Palin supporters are not mindless zombies, we think for ourselves, we research issues for ourselves, and we're Independent in thinking. Unlike our Democratic counterparts, who repeat their orders, and object to all other opinions, including their support of the draconian "fairness doctrine", which restricts freedom, and would silence Conservatism.

I should not be surprised, as liberals expect what liberals have heard, instead of expecting what has occurred.

Rush Limbaugh Hospitalized

Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh was admitted into a Honolulu hospital this evening after complaining of severe chest pain.

More from Mercury News:

HONOLULU—Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh is resting comfortably in a Hawaii hospital after suffering chest while on vacation, his radio program says.

"Rush appreciates your prayers and well wishes and will keep you updated via rushlimbaugh.com and on his radio program," the program said in a statement late Wednesday night.

Limbaugh was rushed for medical treatment earlier in the day. The statement said "Rush was admitted to and is resting comfortably in a Honolulu hospital today after suffering chest pains."

Kit Carson, Limbaugh's chief of staff, told The Associated Press that he had no further information on Limbaugh's condition.

He said the 58-year-old left for his usual Christmas vacation on Dec. 23 and is due to return to his show on Jan. 4. Carson didn't have any information on whether that schedule would change.

Prior to the program statement, Honolulu television station KITV reported that paramedics took Limbaugh to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition from the Kahala Hotel and Resort.

The report said that Limbaugh was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club—a country club next to the hotel—earlier this week.

With his sarcastic putdowns of liberal policies, parodies and self-promotion, he began capturing conservative listeners in the 1980s and grew to become the highest-rated radio broadcaster in the U.S. Recently, he's found a renewed purpose and has boosted ratings by railing against Barack Obama's presidency.

His three-hour weekday show is heard on some 600 radio stations across the country, and more than 14 million people listen to him at least once a week.

Americans said in a poll last month that Limbaugh was America's most influential conservative voice.

In 2001, Limbaugh reported he had lost most of his hearing due to an autoimmune inner-ear disease. He had surgery to have an electronic device placed in his skull to restore his hearing.

Two years later Limbaugh acknowledged he was addicted to pain medicine. He blamed the addiction on severe back pain, and took a five-week leave from his radio show to enter reha

Steps of success in Massachusetts.

The voters of Massachusetts will elect their new Senator in just a few weeks, leaving Conservatives across the Nation who are now starting to pay attention to the race, with just a few weeks to help the Republican candidate in the race, Scott Brown. For those of us who have been following the election and advocating the Brown campaign, this is welcomed news, but for those who are uncertain of what needs to be accomplished, I have a few suggestions.

Step one - Fundraising and Support

Unlike his Democratic candidate, Scott Brown does not have the funding of a candidate for the United States Senate, that would be the first step for a Conservative wanting to help the campaign. As with just a few weeks to go, Brown's campaign needs all of the nickels he can gather, to complete this campaign with a successful conclusion.

Though the battle of endorsements has not been a factor in the race, Scott Brown needs the support of National Conservative organizations, politicians, publications, and well known individuals to help his campaign in the deep blue state of Massachusetts. Though attention has been minimal, I would suggest that fellow Conservatives across America, pressure folks like Sarah Palin, Rob Simmons, and other influential Conservatives to join the Brown effort.

Step two - Unpopular administration

We need to use all possible revenues of success in this election, including the disapproval of Deval Patrick's (D) administration, and the lack of substantial support from Massachusetts voters in regards to the 2010 Gubernatorial election. Scott Brown's opponent is a member of the Massachusetts executive branch, thus connected to the administration of Deval Patrick, this is a connection we can and should use in the battle of opinion, among other points.

Step three - Scott Brown

Scott Brown is not a token candidate, he has been elected to various levels of Massachusetts government over the past few decades, succeeding in a state few Republicans dare to live in, let alone be a representative in the Massachusetts legislature. Scott Brown is a strong fiscal conservative, National defense minded, common sense oriented individual who the average American can relate to. While his politics will not relate with the voters, his opposition to a growing government, being the anti-incumbent, and having a great attitude are all important in this race.

As supporters, we need to tout his qualities as well as his positions to perspective voters in Massachusetts.

ALSO

According to fellow Scott Brown supporter, and Conservative blogger, William Jacobson at Legal Insurrection, Brown's campaign has more support from the grassroots, as evidence of growing Facebook and Twitter accounts, compared to a stale campaign from the Democratic candidate. Another good sign for Brown's campaign.

If these steps are to difficult, than just visit www.brownforussenate.com or www.brownbrigade.ning.com to lend your vocal support.

Ten months.

The battering and blaming of the Republicans has to stop. We have just ten months to the 2010 congressional elections, we have a united Republican caucus in the House and the Senate, our candidates are declaring their intentions to run all across America, and we have a shot at reclaiming the House of Representatives, while ending the Democratic agenda once and for all in the Senate.

This is not the time for battering Republicans or for tossing around the blame for our downfalls, this is the time to prepare for the congressional elections, donate time and monies to Republican candidates. This is our time to stand up against Democrats across America, in the legislatures of the various states, the United States Congress, in Gubernatorial elections, and in the forum of ideas.

Ever since the Democratic majorities took control, it has been one disaster after another proposed in the House of Representatives, our Republican allies have been fighting with all their might, however, without the support of supposed "blue dog" Democrats, we cannot accomplish the destruction of their agenda.

We have a chance to end it. In just ten months, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives will be up for election, while three dozen seats in the Senate are up for election, leaving congressional Republicans with room to capture the House of Representatives with a bare minimum, and secure three or four additional seats in the Senate, securing defeat of all Democratic legislation.

The political landscape has changed, as tea partiers across America are looking for congressional candidates to support, Conservatives have momentum we have never experienced before, congressional Democrats are shaking in their boots, the once impossible is possible with Obama's approval numbers plummeting across the land.

Still, there are some who will not stop blaming Republicans or battering their past mistakes, this is not a time to continue the divide in the Republicans, it is time to become united Republicans, and lead America into a new Conservative revolution. I am not sure who will disagree with that statement, however, I am sure there are some who just want to start trouble within our ranks, instead of solving the problems the Democratic agenda has caused.

From this moment forward, I propose we work as Conservatives, Republicans, Obstructionists, it doesn't matter, just as long as good solid Conservative Republicans are elected to Congress, and the socialists are defeated once and for all.
