There have been some rumors floated around & about that Governor Jindal will challenge Senator Vitter in the Republican primary in the 2010 Senate election, Governor Jindal has already declared that to be untrue, and that he is dedicated to running for a second term as Governor of Louisiana in 2011.
My question is, what about in 2014?
Senator Landrieu defeated the Republican opponent in the recent Senate election, in 2008, by just 100,000 votes, in the closest election for a Democrat incumbent in the recent elections. Landrieu will without a doubt remain vulnerable in the 2014 Senate election, and the Republicans might have the perfect candidate - Gov. Bobby Jindal.
Think about it, Jindal would provide much more value as a United State Senator with a very crucial vote, then as the President of the United States, he would also be able to provide for strong Conservatism for years in the Senate, then perhaps run for President.
Just thinking outloud, however, Jindal 2014 for United States Senate, sounds like a real good deal for America, and the United States Senate.
Your thoughts? Should Jindal remain Governor of Louisiana, run for President, or run for United States Senator?
