NYC Car Bomb Linked to South Park?

I know that Twitter and the general social media is not a reliable source, but it has given some very interesting speculation about the New York City car bomb attempt:

On social networking site Twitter, some users suggested the incident could be linked to recent threats made to South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Viacom, owner of Comedy Central which broadcasts the edgy cartoon, has its headquarters in Times Square.

UPDATE: We now have word that this attempted bombing took place right near MTV Studios, which is owned by Viacom, the parent company of Comedy Central.

MORNING UPDATE: The British Daily Telegraph has extrapolated a little on the story:

The location is also adjacent to the Viacom building, fuelling speculation that it might be linked to the company's controversial South Park cartoon which recently depicted Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit.

If it was near Viacom, maybe it was One Of Yours who set it up.
As a protest against the censorship, and meant to look like an Islamic terrorist plot.
How's that for speculation?
