Specter - Sestak in deadheat with 64% of precincts reporting

Senator Arlen Specter and Congressman Joe Sestak are in a deadheat with about 64 percent of precincts reporting in Pennsylvania. This Senatorial Primary is receiving special attention from around the Nation; as the political career of Senator Specter is on the line, the political power of the White House is on the line, and whether or not Republicans can win this seat in November is also on the line as well.

Will be updating this article through out the evening.

Pennsylvania State Board of Elections:

SESTAK HAS BEEN DECLARED THE WINNER.

With 64% of precincts reporting

Congressman Sestak - 366,897 - 53.6%
Senator Specter - 317,148 - 46.4%

Please keep in mind a Specter win will almost guarantee a Republican pickup in November, while a Sestak win will complicate things for Pat Toomey.
