Republican Tim Burns is up by one in the special election race to succeed former Congressman John Murtha, who died earlier this year. Burns leads Democrat Mark Critz in this nailbiter. The poll is PPP, which tends to lean Democratic, so it may be good news for Burns. However, special election electorates are more volatile and unpredictable than regular ones.
Burns: 48%
Critz: 47%
