Blast in Greece Kills One

A blast in Athens has killed an aide to the Greek Minister of Civil Protection. The Minister, Mihalis Chrysohoidis, is famous for dismantling the Marxist-Anarchist terrorist organization November 17, which was Greece’s most deadly such group. This blast was likely a result of action by Communist or anarchist forces looking to exact revenge on the government for cutting spending in the light of Greece’s massive debt disaster.
This isn’t the first time that something like this has happened in recent history:
In early May, three people including a pregnant woman were killed when people marching in an anti-austerity protest fire-bombed an Athens bank. In March, a 15-year old boy was killed and his mother and sister injured after a bomb exploded outside a building in the capital.
Greece is really beginning to look like a third-world nation.
