Nikki Haley has won the Republican nomination for governor in South Carolina in a heated runoff race. Haley had previously crushed Barrett in their original race, but did not gain a plurality. Surviving smear campaigns from opponent Gresham Barrett, Haley hopes to win the general election in November.
Ms. Haley is set to face Democrat Vincent Sheheen in a race where she is expected to win. Haley is one of the first Indian-American women to be nominated to run for any political party. The 38-year-old mother is looking forward to the election.

Fantastic news! Heard it here first.
Glad to provide it. I'm very glad Haley won too.
Shazam!
I think that Haley is a pretty good singer. She has competition though. Melinda Dolittle is a very strong singer and is performing nicely...
now why we would they have Sanjaya win and have American idol became the most stupidest show ever..they would lose fame and money..so they will keep him till the top 5 but after a while he will leave..
