Obama- Hater of the American Christian Culture?

This is disturbing. I don't want to write this article, however, I just feel it needs to be said, and it needs to be exposed.

According to what I can tell from reading the following quotes, news articles, and opinion pieces. Barack Obama has a full blown hatred for the American Christian culture. Can you really argue with that fact? I think not, however, here is my case.

Barack Obama said earlier this year, that "Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian Nation…” , that for good reason raised numerous complaints from Christians across America, as the heritage of the Christian faith is deep in the United States, and well over 70% of Americans are self proclaimed Christians, of one domination or another. Then we have this quote from Barack Obama just a few months later, "if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world”, really? Only about 3 million Muslims reside in the United States, 3 million Muslims reside within Baghdad alone.

Then we have this quote from Obama last night, praising Islam, "Islam as we know is part of America. Like the broader American citizenry, the American Muslim community is one of extraordinary dynamism and diversity. On this occasion, we celebrate the holy month of Ramadan and we also celebrate how much Muslims have enriched America and its culture in ways both large and small," you have got to be kidding me.

Islam has enriched American culture? Besides for the hatred of the radical factions of the religion, I cannot think of one way of how we have adopted Islam in any way? I do not understand that statement? Obama goes on to tout how a Minnesota Muslim girl was one of the best basketball players in that state, I bet he did not add how she would never be allowed on a basketball court in Iran.........

Sounds like pandering to Islam, and ignoring Americas longstanding Judeo-Christian beliefs & culture. Sounds like something deep seeded, something, even Clinton never had.

I hate say it, Mr. K, but your article is really bad. Sorry, but most of what the President said is indeed vague enough to be true. There is also nothing wrong with saying Islam is rich and diverse, because it is.

There is also nothing wrong with saying "Happy Ramadon" or "Rosh Hashanah" to someone who is religiously different than you.

Great article! What is it with his constant pandering to Islam? That culture has absolutely nothing to offer the west. It's a murderous barbaric religion. In Saudi Arabia they'd kill that girl for playing basketball and dishonouring the family. BTW - When is Obama going to address the Hindu's and Christians of the world? Never!!

Obama is trying to respect his heritage but ends up telling lies and disrespecting other religions. Oh wait a minute, that is exactly what Islam does. Obama must be Muslim.

Mike, I respectfully disagree.

Hear me out. There is nothing wrong with wishing someone Ramadan or whatever with someone who has a different religious bent then you. The problem is this, that while Obama wished Jews happy Roshanha (sp) over the phone, a month before the holiday even begins, he holds an event/conference for the muslim holiday. I see this as a slap in the face to Jews.

As for Islam, it is rich & diverse in its own sense, however, how has that ever effected the United States? It has not.

Obama is not a muslim, hes ignorant and a liberal.

Islam actually has affected the United States, and most of the civilized world for that matter. Inventions like colored-stained glass and Arabic Numbers (1,2,3,4,etc.) are thanks to Islamic scientists.

But it's good to have this kind of debate, because I completely agree that the President is not pro-Israel enough.

Tom G. I agree 100%, which is why I put this comment in the above article.

"Islam has enriched American culture? Besides for the hatred of the radical factions of the religion, I cannot think of one way of how we have adopted Islam in any way?"

I was more in a way going after Obama's not so strong belief in our Christian & Jewish heritage.

I agree 100%.

As for you Luke, obviously you do not understand the relationship we not only share as a people with Israel, but also the alliance we have as Nation's of freedom. Not to mention, our Constitution & government, is in a way in descending from the old Israeli government.

He has been downright hostile towards Israel. He has been pandering to Muslims every single day while in office. Those Islamists passed it along to europeans to which we picked it up, I mean something that has affected America directly while a Nation over the past 200 years.........something we have picked up uniquely from them over the past 200 years.
