Giuliani for United States Senate?

Former New York City Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, a Republican has been touted as the leading Republican to run for Governor next election. However, due to the fact it appears the Democrat Attorney General will be running for the Democrat nomination, and giving the GOP little shot at winning in Gubernatorial election under such circumstances, some Republicans are beginning to think of a new position for the former Mayor.

Thus, Republican leaders are pushing Rudy Giuliani to run against Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, the newly appointed United States Senator is very vulnerable against Giuliani, and even among Democrats she would face a tough primary battle. Giuliani could serve as Senator for a few years, and then seek out the Office of President oncemore, as previous comments have showcased an attitude of running again in 2012.

Should Giuliani run for Senator? I believe whether he runs for Governor or Senator, Rudy Giuliani will have a brilliant opportunity to bring the Republican party back to a point in New York state, however, I personally believe Giuliani should run for Governor, we really need help in New York state, then again Giuliani would be a breath of fresh air in the United States Senate, atleast coming from New York state.

We shall see what occurs in the coming months, not to mention the new Chairman of the NY state Republican party, who will most definitely will be Edward Cox, a good Conservative, so New York state could have a new bright beginning very, very soon.
