McMaster Endorsing Haley

South Carolina Gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley has received another boost as state Attorney General Henry McMaster is slated to endorse her. Haley won 49% in the GOP primary last week and expected to face a runoff. This endorsement further bolsters her credibility and lessens the chance that her primary opponent will put up a serious challenge.

However, that was not immediately clear:

The Barrett campaign has mounted an aggressive two-week runoff campaign despite calls from national Republicans for him to concede the race.
