Johnson is apparently rooting for the establishment of a mosque close to the sacred area of Ground Zero for some idiotic reason. Take a look at this quote (URR has the link back to the original)
It should be pointed out (again) that the “Ground Zero mosque” these idiots are ranting about is actually a proposed community center with an auditorium, swimming pool, and restaurants, in addition to a mosque. It would be housed in an existing 13-story building that’s two blocks away from Ground Zero and has no view of the area; there are two very big buildings in between the proposed community center and Ground Zero. Here is an embedded Google Map in which you can clearly see that the idea of this being a “Ground Zero mosque” is a ridiculous paranoid fantasy.
This is just another example of Johnson attempting to act like he's an ignorant left-winger. Even worse, he's giving credibility to such a terrible idea that even Andrew Sullivan supports it.

What an asshole. He became famous for denouncing Islamic over-extension. Now he's just a douchebag that has no facts to back up his claims, like when he attacked autistic people.
Charles Johnson....aka Husky McPonytail...is likely in complete control of his mental faculties.
He ran off most of the Jews, Veterans, Catholics, conservatives and others who didn't go along with his abrupt, contrived idealogical pivot to accomodate the newbies from Kos or thinkprogress. Such was his desire to hang out with the new 'cool kids'.
He knows what he's doing. He can't hide his associations prior to 2009, so he simply repudiated them to make what he anticipated as a flood of newer, progressive 'lizards' more at home- only that flood turned out to be a trickle. The left side of the blogosphere doesn't think he can be trusted....
Ive come to a simple conclusion. Through extensive research my findings are that most people are assholes. Thank you.
