That's right. 17% of this country believes that the new law in Arizona does not go far enough to solve the illegal immigration problem in the country. Support is running very high for the new law, despite almost universal bad press, boycotts, and protests.
Opinion of AZ Law:
Support as is: 57%
Too Far: 23%
Isn't Strong Enough: 17%
DK: 3%
This means that there is almost the same proportion of people that believe that the law is too weak than those which oppose it. This is just another political liability for the Democrats heading into the November elections, especially if immigration reform comes up.
